The Future Past tour 2023

Also, a concern I have is the stageset potentially looking miniscule in comparison to the large sets AC/DC, GnR and Metallica will be bringing out. I'm sure Maiden's will be visually impressive with the Senjutsu/SIT potential, but size-wise it's perfect for an arena. Of course, it's not like they've had problems with festivals before.

Anyway if Maiden are going to play in that Festival, I think they wouldn't play just Senjutsu and Somewhere in Time songs. what do you think? and please don't open a power trip setlist thread
If they're still doing Future Past I imagine the set will be the same. They don't care about that tailoring the set to certain audiences.

Tickets looking to be incredibly expensive with lots of VIP options if Desert Trip is anything to go by. Looking forward to Bruce getting some good digs in at the rich posers down the front.

Yes, because the guy directly benefiting from the rich posers at the front is definitely also the man we need to hear from on this particular issue. Come on, that's hypocritical as hell and I'd rather he keep his mouth shut when he's not singing.

This could very well be a one-off. In addition to the poster about the bill Ghost posted I also saw a blurb along with that line-up saying "only appearance in NA." If so maybe they would put together a special "best of/hits" set and save TPF for the tour in 2024? They would have some time to do that.

They are probably too lazy for that. Oh, wait, they can always play Wrathchild!

No way in hell they're bringing over their entire production for a one-off, makes no sense financially. It damn near has to be at least a short run of dates.

Either that or they've gone completely bonkers and are planning on doing an extra festival hits show with minimal production purely for cash.
Maybe they will be parking their touring equipment in America since they will tour there next year?

As some have said, probably due to the Hall of fame thing they have accepted this festival date, and possibly some additional dates as well
