He can barely stand let alone sing for two hours. Besides, Ozzy has been using backing tracks since the 90's.
I did read a couple of weeks back he (sharon) was considering doing shows using a large throne to sit on. Probably what happens here Haha

Power Trip is a massive ka-ching for all band members.

If the rumoured 10 million per headliner is true (as it was for Desert Trip), that means 1M per band member plus additional 4M for crew, managment and everyone else. Damn.
Money talks which is why I think it will be a one off show and they save NA dates until next year. Its possible they may do a warm up show or 2 in other parts of California (LA) but I wouldn't expect anything else

This sounds like something that will give birth to a lot of chidish rants from Bruce.

I am really curious to see the announcement tomorrow though. It doesn't seem very Maiden at all.

If there's a show featuring that amount of big hitters, and the promotors offering bags of money, then Maiden have come a long way from playing nightclubs in the states 25 years ago. They would be stone mad to not be involved if asked.

I think it depends on if they are inducted into RRHOF. Induction is held on October 30th, so if they are inducted, they might do a string of shows through October. 1 or 2 warm up shows (LA Forum and/or San Diego) then Power Trip and 10 or so shows afterwards making their way to Cleveland on October 30th.

Btw, on Saturday Bruce greeted us with "Hello Cleveland!" and ended the show with "You are a better audience than Cleveland!". Yes, it's a Spinal Tap reference, but knowing what we know now with last year's "Somewheres" during rants/show ends...

I bet they will bot split the fee that way!

Anyway if Maiden are going to play in that Festival, I think they wouldn't play just Senjutsu and Somewhere in Time songs. what do you think? and please don't open a power trip setlist thread

Guns N Roses have maybe 90 minutes of good music in total. I am amazed there are people paying to see them perform for 3 hours and 30 minutes.
If they didn't pad the show out to that length with interludes, solos etc. Axl's voice would probably give out halfway through.
