TBOS Tour Predictions

Listen to this version of The Clansman now.. Would love it if they bring it back. Not necessarily next year but in the future. It was played at every tour between 1999 and summer of 2003, so they must have liked the song.

So. No war, no potential satanic references, no Tibet, no guns, no drugs, no heavy topics. What does that leave us with? Quest for Fire? Or would they object to the anachronistic dinosaurs? :p

I seriously hope not.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner. A bird is killed, but the Chinese aren't the most keen on animal rights anyway. The line "that we must love all things that God made" could be troublesome though.

Having seen maiden on every tour for the past 20 years and am hoping they throw us a curve ball and play one or two rare tracks. I would love to hear Bruce sing some more blaze era stuff, something he hasn't sung before. Not sure what tracks I would like to hear but something new.

Would also love to hear infinite dreams live, was gutted it was dropped for maiden England.

Wanna bet?
We should make a setlist contest!!! Im sure 100%. What old classic do you think they are talking about? Im sure is flight of icarus.heaven can wait becuase bruce cancer and the great unknown will be played the 3 or 4 song in the setlist

I don't think we'll get any rare songs this time. It's just Bruce thinking out loud. If he really meant it, it was probably Hallowed Be Thy Name he meant. I already posted my setlist prediction earlier in this thread..

As we learned on ME tour nothing can be predicted as far as setlist goes (absence of Hallowed). Although I think all the songs in the tour EPK have a good chance to be played (around 80%).

I'd much rather they do Blaze songs that haven't been performed with Bruce yet.

Not new but it was the most extreme case.

Eh. Was it really? What about 2010, when they played a setlist consisting almost entirely of post-2000 songs? Or 2006, when they played their entire new album? Not to mention various tidbits, like having Moonchild in the 2008 setlist, Lord of the Flies in 2003, no Fear of the Dark in 2005... in 2011, everybody expected Brave New World to be in, which it wasn't in the end. Sure, Hallowed being out was unexpected, but I don't consider it the most extreme case.

Maiden really aren't as predictable as many people make them out to be.

I agree. I've seen them 36 times and there's only 1 song I've seen them play every single time.

So from what i undesrstand by reading this, not 1 song is 100% confirmed so far?

Im just so exited about this and i cant wait to see what songs it is, and it be good to tell my friends. So they get a chance to hear the songs before the concert.

Nothing confirmed at all.

Incidentally, we're still operating the spoiler tags rule for songs officially confirmed. Speculation doesn't really matter because it's just that, speculation. But if a member of the band or someone close to the band does confirm that a particular song is on the setlist, do put that in spoiler tags.
