What Aces High video are people referring to? My searches turn up nothing. Also, I personally quite like Maiden's way of producing shit nowadays. I don't want stuff to sound polished and sterile and "Sneap-Like." They do what they do and they do it how they want and, right or wrong, that's how I want to hear it.

It probably isn't available on your country I guess. If you have Spotify is also available there. But basically is the same sound as Live Chapter, maybe a little bit better imo.

In the press release Rod says the following:

The "hopefully" bit makes me think that the tour going ahead is rather uncertain and Rod is acknowledging that.

No I'm not actually, it's what you wrote in the next sentence. They didn't notice them or didn't consider them as mistakes because they don't put as much effort in the studio post production. The lack of effort may be due to them wanting to get the stuff out and play it live asap.

Yeah may be but with the live album was announced meanwhile so they were in all probability working on that.

Agreed. It's a shockingly poor effort for a band of this class, barely above a shitty FM radio broadcast straight from the board. It's kind of hard to believe that somebody actually worked on the mix for this because it sure doesn't sound like it.
 
So, with info provided, I say best chance for IM17 is 2nd half 2021. If the world goes back to normal LOTB is over in mid 2021. If the world doesn't go back to normal we're looking at 2022 release.

I will be following Metallica because they're also "working" on a new album and they'll surely do the exact thing that Maiden does (and vice versa) because they're the only two bands of that calibre. Everyone else will have to make digital releases and YT live sessions and anything to earn some cash to overcome this period.
