Iron Maiden studio album 17 rumours and speculations

I need to rewatch my Raising Hell DVD again at some point but ugh the Simon Drake stuff. Plus the gig feels so “studio” I hardly see it as a concert film.

The magic bits are absolutely cringeworthy. Whatever were Rod and Steve thinking to go ahead with such a tacky show?
I remember when it was big deal shit because it was on Pay Per View. I think I was 13 when it came out and the corners of my mouth moistened at the thought of it.

Maybe they're still planning a video release with some different footage. It wouldn't make sense not to have a video because of the very incredible stage production this tour has.

They might put it online, like TBOS. Or they could be saving it (and a whole bunch of other stuff) for release after the band is no longer touring (shudder the thought, I know)

I think a video may very well be possible, we already got two official videos from the tour: Run to the Hills and Flight of Icarus. So yay! Looks like Walmart isn't doing pre-orders, it just says "out of stock." No shit it's out of stock, it's not for sale yet!

My only problem with Aces high video is that the drums are too loud in the mix and the guitars are just background noise. Maybe the final version will be better. It's good that we'll get a new album - this song sounds good but still, I'm convinced that the 2018 leg was better. But hey - the new Maiden album is always a nice surprise.

But this may indicate that the new studio album will be here sooner than we've expected.

I guess the one thing we can say about this new album it that it has Iced Earth production. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is up to you.
