I'd say that starting SiT tunes is almost a given. Maiden like to mix things up a bit from tour to tour (thematically, if not so much in the songs played department), and since they've recently started with Senjutsu songs, they'll come out of the gate with SiT songs to start the set.
Time Machine has a live classic written all over it - great, sing along chorus. Dancey breakdown bits, guitar melodies that the audience can hum along to. Of the songs from Senjutsu that I wouldn't mind seeing dropped: Title Track for sure. It has a great heavy gallop, moves along rather nicely, and is a great atmospheric song. It DEFINITELY comes off better on the album though, IMHO. Its not the most melodic or catchy Maiden number (two factors which most of the Maiden concert staples have in spades), and it carries on for quite some time (and thus takes setlist space from other songs).
Without even thinking on it, I'm going to give another hard yes to Futureal! Please play this one!! Anyone who follows the Blaze Bayley live clips on YouTube knows that his audience goes apeshit when the brings this one out. Its energetic, has great guitar runs, a great solo (that won't strain Bruce very much), and its a short song that will work well in the middle of several longer epics -- there's every reason to play this one and almost no reasons to leave it on the shelf.
Maiden mgmt - are you reading this? PLEAESE PAY FUTUREAL !!!!
