The Future Past tour 2023

I think 15's a safe bet. Five of each from Senjutsu, SiT and the staples. Not really much room for exploration considering the set length will already be pretty hefty with that and even this configuration means leaving out stuff that would normally make an appearance after being skipped last year (the aforementioned TETMD and 2MTM, but yeah right they'll cut the beer song).

I wouldn't mind if they skipped it this time. HCW can be the big crowd participation song this go around.

I still think FOTD is a safe bet, the deafening roar every time the opening starts especially after a few deeper cuts / newer songs are played is enough to always keep it in, cant see it ever being dropped now tbh. They only have one tour since 1992 I believe crazy to think

What do you think, will they drop any of the 5 classics or which one would be the most likely to be left out? I think out of the 5 they might give Number of the Beast a rest (when was the last time NotB wasn't played?).
2006. I'd also say Number Of The Beast (...tempo issues last year). Although the most likely scenario is 5+5+5 (and/or + another deep cut, I think 16 songs setlist is possible). They considered such a move for TBOS tour, but Run To The Hills is a much more difficult song. They can always replace it with another classic like 2 Minutes, Prisoner, Brave New World or a song from SSOASS (I doubt the latter because songs from the album were played a lot in recent years, but I guess a song like Clairvoyant would fit the theme in a way and it is a possible sort of deep cut). No chance for the other songs.

or a song from SSOASS (I doubt the latter because songs from the album were played a lot in recent years)

Where they though? Sure, we had three legs of Maiden England ten years ago, but other than that the only SSOASS song that has been played semi-regularly since 2010 is The Evil That Men Do. Even something like LOTB focused much more on POM with only one SSOASS song, which didn't survive the 2022 leg anyway.
By that logic Powerslave songs should've gotten a rest after SBIT, yet 2MTM, later Aces High and even the title track appeared on setlists. We'll have to see I guess.

Yeah SSOASS usually only gets the one track these days if it's lucky with TETMD being most likely but CIPWM and the Clairvoyant get some rotation.

I´m really hoping for Only The Good Die Young
2 never before played live songs in one tour? I highly doubt it. It's the same with Deja-Vu. Alexander is most important now. But for the next tour (if they give up their habit) it would be great. Or Infinite Dreams, again really doubtful. My wish for every tour (apart from Alexander) is Out Of The Silent Planet and I can't help but think that the theme of the tour is the perfect chance to finally give this single a proper live treatment - the only single of Maiden not played on a full tour! And it's not like it's a difficult song, methinks.

I hate to be that guy again, but honestly, I'd prefer Only the Good Die Young with one or two "semi-deep" cuts over Alexander the Great and not-so-many other deeper cuts, heh.

But as we know, Alexander isn't and probably has never been more likely than it is now... So we'll see! It would be cool, but if the set is otherwise exciting I won't be disappointed if Alexander doesn't get played. I love most of Somewhere in Time and Senjutsu anyway, so if the set is a solid mix of those with at least one Childrenofthedamnedpowerslaveprisonertheclairvoyant kind of a cut thrown in à la The Book of Souls and Dance of Death tours... I'm very, very happy! :) And even if we just get that 5+5+staples, I'm still... very happy. :)

I've had dreams about..but I hope that they will play "Infinite Dreams" live on the next tour..
Can't see that fitting the setlist for The Future Past Tour, but even if they rehearsed and skipped the song for no given reason for Maiden England World Tour 2012-2014 there might be actually no chance to ever hear it live. Too bad..I never got to see them live in 1988.
