Minus 2-3 songs, X Factor is a madterpiece. I was sorry that he left after 2 albums, his voice on Brave new world on songs like DOM, BB and Nomad would have been better than Bruce s versions. Imagine Blaze bringing Stare at the Sun to BNW

Even though its generally considered blasphemy that Blaze could sing any Iron Maiden song better than Bruce I understand what you're saying. The high Bs and tenor C in the chorus of The Nomad would be difficult for Blaze also. He can do it but it wouldn't be pretty.

Ok, I admit I took it too far. But the intro is a ATSS ripp off,the drums are awful,there is hardly any riff,the melody before and after the solo is the intro to Wasging love and Blaze sings like a pig. OK,now I took it too far. It does create a mood tbough.

I hope we get a review for TBOS says how progressive the album is or at least the longer songs.

From all the info I've been able to glean from critics that have it they keep stressing how consistently good the album is and how varied it is, that it touches on everything Maiden do. Short punchy songs, anthemic songs, and full on epics. Empire of the Clouds is said to be the most progressive thing they've ever done.

I would think so, but of course people that only like the older stuff will complain a ton about the production and so forth. As someone who loves all four of the reunion albums in addition to the older music I know I'll be happy.
