Sabaton

I can't quite imagine that.

Resists comment about being able to hear all these different bands in Sabaton...
 
Mehhh. Not a big fan of the keyboards throughout the whole song. Far From the Fame is way better.
 
I dig it! I'll reserve full judgment until I hear a decent recording of it, but it's alright. Quite triumphant!
 
TBH The only thing I didn't like about the previous song posted was that the chorus seemed to go "Far Far from the fame" instead of "Far from the fame", which whilst it still makes sense it just sounded off, especially with the hurried way it was spoken.
 
The only thing that I fear about this new album is track lengths, as listed here:

If those are correct, this will be the shortest Sabaton album yet. While I don't expect long songs from Sabaton, nothing but 3 minute tracks is a bit sketchy. The last album that was this short (Coat of Arms) was pretty underwhelming, IMO.
 
I love the keyboards. Kinda gives me a Turisas feel, but still very Sabaton.

You can hear Turisas in Sabaton, but you can't hear Sabaton in Turisas.
 
One thing to keep in mind is the new lineup. Sabaton will sound somewhat different going forward.
 
I started to like it more after a few more listens. Exposure, right...
But I still think Far from the Fame is better.

Oh, and the drums don't sound particularly dangerous to me in this one. But I like the solo.
