Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

And by the tour patterns they use to have I think that early next year will be the Latin American leg of the tour right? Because Im going to Europe to study a year in August 2013 and it would suck if they decided to play in September that leg of the tour

Actually Sanctuary hasn't been played since 2009 still it'd be nice to see it played alive I think they might play the songs you mentioned. Just take out Still Life and add Fear Of The Dark which they will probably play and take out two more songs to make way for Run To The Hills and The Tooper.
Whats wrong with still life? Thats my favorite on the original setlist, if any Can i play w/madness should be dropped

But they wont drop Can I play with Madness, is one of the hits of the original Seventh Son Tour. But still they should totally play Still Life

Alrighty then......STill Life-yes,Killrs-yes,Prisoner-yes!!,die with boots-a good chance , as is sea of madness Is nobody wagering on any newer songs at all-I,m throwin in Silent Planet, umm-1000 suns,ah-let,s see---starblind & something off of dance o. d.-hmmm?? always thought Beyond new Frontier was a cool track-but i,ll go for all oldschool for f,n sure!! We,ll see soon enough now/damn, time flies when your payin bills , Yup.

thats a sick setl
According to someone who claims his father is an EMI producer, and is rather close with Iron Maiden themselves, this potential setlist leaked from EMI Records:

1. Moonchild
2. The Evil That Men Do
3. Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter
4. Infinite Dreams
5. The Trooper
6. Wasted Years
7. Can I Play With Madness
8. The Number of the Beast
9. Afraid To Shoot Strangers
10. Heaven Can Wait
11. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
12. Fear of the Dark
13. Iron Maiden
ENCORE
14. The Clairvoyant
15. Hallowed Be Thy Name
16. Run To The Hills

Take it for what you want. We are only 20 something days away from the first concert. It could be real, or at least close. I remember when the setlist "leaked" before the 2010 tour and it was spot on, with the exception of like 2-3 songs. So it's possible this is legit, or close to legit.

This is still my guess at the setlist, with the encore mainly being "wishful thinking"...

1. Moonchild
2. The Evil That Men Do
3. The Trooper
4. Infinite Dreams
5. Wasted Years
6. Can I Play With Madness
7. Die With Your Boots On
8. The Prisoner
9. The Number of the Beast
10. The Clairvoyant
11. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
12. Fear of the Dark
13. Iron Maiden
ENCORE
14. Caught Somewhere In Time
15. Sea of Madness
16. Hallowed Be Thy Name
ist. but hallowed be thy name is in there twice?

thats a sick setlist.
but hallowed be thy name is in there twice?

What? It was... but I corrected it.

I accidentally put Hallowed in there twice, one in place of where Fear of the Dark was supposed to be. Simple typo on my end. How do you still see that though? I edited it almost instantly after realizing it earlier.

One thing I just realized, and a reason the supposed "leaked" setlist could potentially be correct (at least the part where they possibly play a few 90's songs), is because they really have already covered most of the mainstream material from the 80's in recent tours.

Even Seventh Son of a Seventh Son itself, as five songs from the album were played during 2008's SBIT alone. We're already expected to get a lot of repeated material this tour; it's almost guaranteed they'll play Moonchild, The Evil That Men Do, Can I Play With Madness, Heaven Can Wait, and The Clairvoyant, which were all just played 3-4 years ago. Along with the typical live staples like NOTB, Hallowed, possibly Run to the Hills and/or The Trooper.

The only two treats we would get from the this tour's album is Infinite Dreams (I'm sure it will be played, hopefully), and the title song itself. (Iron Maiden would be the biggest trolls if they DIDN'T play Seventh Son of a Seventh Son)

You'd almost have to think if the band maybe regrets playing all those Seventh Son songs during the "Somewhere Back In Time" tour? Where they arguably should have stuck with JUST Powerslave and Somewhere In Time as the bulk material.

Anyways, back to my original point, I think it would make perfect sense if they threw in some 90's songs this tour. They could maybe pull off a full setlist if they did include some rare tracks that were in Maiden England '88, without going into the albums "No Prayer For The Dying" and "Fear Of The Dark". These include tracks like The Prisoner, Still Life, Die With Your Boots On, Killers, etc. But still, I feel we will most likely see some 90's material mixed in with the set.

EDIT: Unless, they pull a complete shocker, and play some rarer SIT songs to maybe make up for the lack thereof for SBIT? Like Sea Of Madness, Caught Somewhere In Time, Stranger In A Strange Land, Alexander The Great, etc. If they were EVER going to play songs like these, I feel it would have to be this tour, or never.

I hope they play still life and the prisoner, I've heard the prisoner live by a tribute band and it works very well with the audience, they should totally play it.

Yeh, Prisoner would be far more welcome than, say, Run To The Hills. And, I'd swap almost anything on the set for Still Life; or any other "never really played" track.

Good.

1. Moonchild
2. The Evil That Men Do
3. Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter
4. Infinite Dreams
5. The Trooper
6. Wasted Years
7. Can I Play With Madness
8. The Number of the Beast
9. Afraid To Shoot Strangers
10. Heaven Can Wait
11. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
12. Fear of the Dark
13. Iron Maiden
ENCORE
14. The Clairvoyant
15. Hallowed Be Thy Name
16. Run To The Hills

Looking at it --they would be better getting rid of Bring Your Daughter & putting The Clairvoyant in the main set somewhere. I could live without Madness & Heaven Can Wait in the main setlist too (--or anywhere else for that matter). I'd like to see Still Life, as I said; & Die With Your Boots On could come back in too. That would still leave a big gap in the Encore, as I'd drop Run To The Hills too. SSoaSS could be moved to the begining of the Encore; moving it from the main setlist. Hmm... what else to bring in though? Just something newer for the US fans I'd suggest. I suppose, if they did go for something post-2000, it would sort of need to "fit" with the whole Maiden England feel. Starblind would be good, but that ain't going to happen. God damn it! I just want more SiT stuff. Afraid will be sweet though, if it happens.

thats a sick setl
ist. but hallowed be thy name is in there twice?
you know what. this setlist isn't that unrealistic. what maiden said is that the setlist would have 2/3 of the maiden england set, which this dose. there would also be some songs that havent been played in a while and some fan favorites which i would say there is. yes afrade to shoot strangers and bring your daughter to the slaughter are on the odd side but for what there saying there going to dod it fits write in. where all going to see the set in 20 days but if this is real ill be happy to hear it
