Instrumentals game (YouTube playlist online!)

Considering Foro's initial idea was a game that would make people discover new music, the restriction of time or contributions thing sounds silly to me. No other survivor was done with that ambition, they all looked to pick the best out of material people were already familiar with.

ATTENTION:

Some people have mentioned albums, or instrumentals from albums, without mentioning track names. I am not counting such input. You can mention your favourite song from the corresponding album plus add the link, please.
OK, Foro I am going to sit down tonight and try to figure out my Satch songs
But in the meantime, you gotta add these from Rainbow:

Plus some BOC, Porcupine Tree, RHCP, AC/DC, Dokken and blues guitarist Mason Ruffner

Sorry if that made things tougher. On the bright side, the World Cup is going to take at least another two months to finish :D
@mckindog
Thanks for your input but it would be easier for me to organize this stuff if you write down (or copy paste) the bands and the track titles. Of course the links are great, so don't remove them. Thanks in advance.
@SixesAlltheway would you do that as well? Much appreciated.

Alright, some stats. At the moment we're having:

136 entries (suggested by 16 members)
11 members did less than 10 suggestions
4 members did between 10 and 15 suggestions
1 member did 44 suggestions (that's almost a third of the total).

136 entries.

Let's end these suggestions before March the 1st. After that date I will do another count and then will try to find out how to run this, how many of these suggestions will be used and I'll get in touch with the member(s) who might need to trim down.

Head to head with 64 songs means 62 rounds. Stretch each round over five days, you are at 10 months.
Was this calculated with doing one round at the time? I am not sure if I would do five days. Probably less.
@mckindog I'd like to talk about this a bit more via pm.

136 doesn't seem like that big of a number to me, considering Maiden games start with more than 145 songs. Although as the member who suggested almost a third of the total, I probably shouldn't be speaking. :p

My final contribution. I almost forgot about Tangerine Dream... I'll go with a track featuring a real drummer. They have around 130 studio albums and only 3 had a real drummer. I didn't just pick it for that reason. I love the groove and the melody at the end goes straight through the heart.

Hiya everybody,

I asked Mckindog via pm if he hadn't forgotten about his Satch songs so he came up with these two:

Joe Satriani - If I Could Fly
Joe Satriani - Summer Song

Then I did a another count: Not counting Flash's entries: 95. I want to do a game with 128 entries.
@The Flash Would you go over your suggestions and please trim it down to

128 - 95 = 33 entries and would you make a new list of these 33, and post it in this topic (please keep the links)?

Just in case: you were the one who suggested Pink Floyd - One of These Days first. If that one is not going to be among these 33 please say so, then Moon Child can still suggest it, but then she has to get rid of another of her own suggestions, in order to not get over our total of 128.

Much appreciated!

80+ albums: I didn't really know where to start to be honest with you.

EDIT: In fact, he's released another album since I looked at his website last week!
