People are stocking up on regular soap too, which is completely ridiculous. Do these people not normally wash their hands? Toilet paper is running low too. It's fucking stupid. Can we have the WW2 stiff upper lip back please?

In England, before Premier League football matches the customary handshakes between the teams will not take place until further notice. Football is a contact sport so this won't achieve anything, unless the aim is to set an example to the general public.
 
Why are people stocking up on toilet paper? A normal pack has enough for weeks. Do they think this is going to go on for the rest of the year or do they normally wipe their arses with something else?

A man infected with coronavirus attended the TOOLconcert in Auckland on February 28. He may have been infectious at the time. He was in the general admission standing area in the front left-hand quadrant at Spark Arena.

The man, the partner of the woman announced as positive on Wednesday, has been in self-isolation since yesterday. The couple returned from northern Italy last week.

People have broken into Berlin hospitals to steal disinfectants and protective masks and clothing, including a major intensive care station for children cancer patients. It is believed that this comes in the wake of reports about a guy who stocked up on protective masks for 60 cents a piece in January and sold them online for 20 Euros each and made over a million Euros.
