If he fucked his voice badly while pushing through the illness, yes. Thankfully it seems like he didn't do any lasting damage.
I think all of this shows that Bruce has learned when to pull the plug for the greater good. Just a few years ago, he would keep pushing through the gigs, possibly with disasterous consequences.

Happy to see Bruce and the band back in action. Only 12 songs (out of 15 songs, not including the cover) is cool for a non-headlining festival gig. I guess he's not 100% since the most difficult songs are dropped. Navigate was also dropped, which is a surprise. Dropping the cover was a good move (some of it was played after Rain though). Faith is easy for him, while he sounds very solid on the high parts, Alchemist, Tower and Road To Hell (no surprise, one of his most popular songs as a closer on a festival gig).
