Didn't he say he wants to play bigger venues the next time. I think it'll be a nice mix of everything as always, especially a US tour. Festivals are a must for exposure. Not because of filling or not, it's Bruce, although this is a new band. They are gaining popularity now. European festivals?
I think in general he could fill bigger venues, for instance in Oslo his concert sold out really quick and he could easily fill a bigger venue (Sentrum Scene). Think bruce enjoys smaller places sometimes

Sentrum Scene was booked that day. He could have easily filled it. I think he could have played maybe 2,500 or so in Oslo.

A message from Bruce - “We are thrilled to be able to take The Mandrake Project out for a proper tour of North America. Last year we did a couple of sold-out U.S. West Coast dates before heading to South America and the response was just incredible. This time we will add ‘Shadow of The Gods’ to the setlist for this incredible band to perform plus a few other gems so we are really looking forward to seeing our fans again all over the country and for a couple of shows up in Canada.”

The Mandrake mailing list presale and local pre-sales begin on Thursday, March 6 at 10am local time with the general on sale starting on Friday, March 7 at 10am local time.

Sign up to the mailing list at TheMandrakeProject.com to ensure you receive the password on Thursday.

Only 1 SA date? More dates to follow, probably festivals? Just 3 for now. In Europe? Will the tour be until November? Maybe not.

A setlist hint, for hype(?!). ''Shadow Of The Gods'' will be played. Expected. I guess he won't try ''Sonata'' after all. Shadow will probably replace one of the new songs (''Many Doors To Hell'') or from the rotation songs. But not only that - plus a few other gems. Great to hear!

nice to see that the Shadow of the Gods will be added. (somehow it's interesting that he announced this before hand.)
Maybe he wanted to hint that it won't be the same show. How I hope they add a solo for it live. Mistheria will love it. My prediction:

Shadow could replace another longer song like Jerusalem (not a set regular). And Many Doors to be replaced by Road To Hell/other rotation song. Ofc we don't know what other songs he might play from the old ones (more from the new album, dunno), but I guess the core/highlights of the set will be the same. First two, encore, big hits and singles in the middle, Resurrection Men.

One thing is fore sure, there will be some great omissions for the expected live album/concert video from the tour, unless he releases for all.

Perhaps! Jerusalem was quite an important song in the set though and got a lot of play, but for that reason it is totally possible that it might not be played quite as much this year. Many Doors to Hell wasn't exactly a set regular after the first part of the tour last year (basically dropped at the end of May), so I don't know if it's comparable with Road to Hell and such which were, eventually, played a lot until the end of the 2024 tour.

Anyway, cool to see Shadow of the Gods appear in the set! I hope for Fingers in the Wounds as well - and a handful of shows in Europe somewhere down the line. :D Probably not until next year though.

27 - Riviera Theatre, Chicago, IL, USA

I'll be going to the Minneapolis show 100%. Never been to the venue, but I'm sure it's a step up from last time he was here in 1997 at the Cabooze, where I was up front and dodging Brucie's menacing crotch anytime he jumped up on the monitors. :ahhh:

To paint a word picture, I'm 6'3", Bruce is...not, let's say. Add to that a not very high stage and Bruce in spandex shorts, and...you get the idea.

Interesting that he's doing the Riviera Theatre in Chicago. I remember that being a fairly large venue (2,500 capacity, according to Google) when I saw Maiden there on the Virtual XI World Tour, followed shortly thereafter by Cradle of Filth on their Cruelty & the Beast Tour. It'll be interesting to see how well he does in filling it, since he hasn't toured solo in the States for eons.

Best song on the album.
Such quality ideas (like Eternity), they stand out from the rest. Special/classic vibe, to say. Some very good short rockers, but those two longer songs feel epic. I would personally add Wounds too. Then, Many Doors and Ragnarok in terms of the ideas.
Phenomenal song.
Yep, unfinished too.
His current band rocks so....
The solo band really clicked and the energy is great. No Roy, but I can't complain.

I said Jerusalem because it wasn't a staple in 1998 either. And because of the length of both songs. Him to play more than 4 new songs? Not sure. And Shadow is easier for his vocals than Many Doors. The latter will most likely be dropped. It, Road and Jerusalem had the same number of plays last year. Faith wasn't far either. It will be harder if he plays more songs from TOS, Road being a rotation song is still wow. I guess Tower is a more effective closer.

I also hope for Wounds, but Bruce likes Sonata more for sure. Will he play it, probably not. I thought he'd try Eternity, but I'll understand if he doesn't.

You think the new album will get a 3rd leg? I guess Bruce will want to tour solo every year.

European shows this year, dunno, it also depends on his plans for Maiden and his solo writing, right.
