Generally speaking (meaning for the group overall, not one person): doing that is a double-edged sword.

The effect you seek will happen: if everyone does that, we'll get a lot of songs picked by a single person. But by the same token, songs that were selected by many people might miss the game!

For instance: the song selected by the most people is "Stargazer". If everyone moves that song to the bottom, it misses the game. This also means that "Stargazer" is the unofficial front-runner for the winning song... and the person that drafts it has a very good chance of winning Night Prowler's special secret prize.

If winning Night Prowler's prize is important to you: yes, put your heaviest hitters at the top of your draft order. If that prize doesn't matter to you, then it's more about choosing the songs you really want to see in the game, and moving those up. Remember: of the 120 unique songs, only 64 get in the game.

You are correct: you cannot replace songs on your list, only change the order.

Night Prowler has given me a hint about the prize...
The winner gets to choose from the following:
  • A conversation with Forostar about American race relations.
  • A conversation with Travis about President Obama.
  • A conversation with SinisterMinisterX about classical music.
Hey, wait a minute...
 
Now seriously, the prizes are Forum Games related, so don't expect money or meet-and-greet with Adrian Smith :P
 
Got it. As for prizes, when (not if :p) I win, I will donate any prize to charity. That way, I can write it off my taxes. Now, how much would one value a conversation with Travis......
 
I also checked the data to see who had the most songs in common with another person...

4 songs in common:
Collin and Stardust
Collin and Unknown One
Stardust and Flash
CFH and SMX
Ariana and Unknown One

3 songs in common:
Collin and mckindog
SMX and RTC
SMX and MrKnickerbocker
Unknown One and mckindog
 
So I guess the answer to my only question about this game is likely: Collin or UO.

...the question was who the hell was the other person to pick CENSORED BY MOD?

That's an interesting question, because it also answers "who will be impacted most by the draft".

The people at the bottom of this list will have their song selection impacted most by the draft. But also having the most duplicates, those people will see a larger percentage of their list getting into the game, as most of their songs will get drafted by someone.

I think I can guess the 3 songs I have in common with SMX, but I'll wait to see how right I am.
 
Uh, I'm on the list twice?

EDIT: I worked it out. I've got 3 unique songs, and I'm actually surprised AT one of my unique songs, I thought someone else would have picked it for sure.

Mosh's list is probably most obscure... I only really know 1 of his songs + I heard 3 more but can't recall anything from them. And the remaining 8 are completely unknown to me.
