Ancient Mariner
True, although the title of the song is "Walk to the Hills" these days.lmao "painfully slow" is too much drama IMO.

My take:
The Ressurection of the Beast
50 Anniversary Tour 2025
1. Different World
I heard studio version before that post and the tempo is almost the same. The difference for me is the intensity on drumming (obviously higher in 1986).You can add Wasted Years, Nicko's playing on SIT album is just something else.
The intensity, and the flow/groove/whatever just isn't there. Wasted Years has such a special rhytm on the studio version, and they have always struggled a bit to capture it, but now it's just bad IMO.I heard studio version before that post and the tempo is almost the same. FOTD is their greatest hit. I would be surprised if they cut it off.I understand it's a classic and a great song and all, but like they stopped playing Hallowed Be Thy Name and The Number of the Beast, they can stop playing Fear of the Dark.
Remember Nicko doing the impression of them playing run to the hills when they're old on the death on the road dvd?True, although the title of the song is "Walk to the Hills" these days.
Yep! We are, unfortunately, almost there when it comes to some songs.Remember Nicko doing the impression of them playing run to the hills when they're old on the death on the road dvd?
