Thanks for sharing this. Nice pictures.

It reminds me that I need to put my collection of Iron Maiden calendars up for sale on ebay. Someone might collect these things!
I collected calendars buying trough the fan club…all the 90's and some of 2000. I bought the old ones from the 80's trough eBay. I sold all of them on eBay long time ago as a lot of all the Maiden fan club magazines (from the issue # I think to the end of my fan club membership).

In fact I think I'm going to sell other Maiden things like the Eddie figure Somewhere in Time and some other things I don't need or I didn't see them or use it for years and years.

I know what you mean. A couple of years ago I had a look at a wardrobe full of Maiden special event T-shirts that I was never wearing (and did not particularly like anymore) so I decided to get rid of them and other memorabilia. Better in a collector's home than cluttering mine!

if you post a Maiden poster in the wardrobe you can sell the whole of it as a Maiden Wardrobe-box set full of Maiden t-shirts.'Eddie's t-shirts Archive'

I think what the account says is wrong. That was in 1983. When Maiden finished Piece of Mind album in Compass Point and the following band who booked the studio was AC/DC to record Flick of the Switch and Brian Johnson was the first member to arrive and knew the guys and Bruce told him I want you to hear some songs of the album.

I agree, but either way, Brian Johnson is a fucking legend and one of the nicest men in rock.

So what did your father and brothers think of the show?
1 brother isn't a rock/metal fan, said it was good. The other enjoys rock/metal and he was quite impressed, he likes mosh pits (we were seated) so he said that looked like a lot of fun down below. My dad said he was very impressed with the whole show.

All agreed that the band put on an amazing stageshow, good theatrics and were impressed when I explained Bruce's cancer and hip replacement in addition to Nicko's stroke.

Power Trip tonight. Has there been any confirmation on how many tickets were sold? They were still advertising as of yesterday.

I don't know anything about that Festival, I have no seen any pictures or videos about that place or people arriving…Just Anything.
