Steve then will move back to Leytonstone into his old block. It would be perfect if the name of the new album is simply Iron Maiden, just as they started back 50 years ago, would make sense to do the full circle. IMO
I totally forgot this. Our chances to get at least one more suddenly have risen!Eh, Bruce said that they almost rented a studio during the pandemic to record another album, but decided against it. I'd be surprised if we don't get at least one more album out of them.
Its like black sabbath now or Motorhead,or Dio. OR GUNS N ROSES LOL. No,seriously, what a band, im a fan since early 90s-That is something that I've thought in the last few years. Time and aging, it's something we cannot slow or stop. So surely the sands of time are running low (soon).
It has been awesome ride and Im so glad, that Maiden has been here with me almost the whole lifetime..
So..when they do call it a day and no longer exists, it will be one of the most saddest days ever but also atleast I have the memories and music with me until the very end of my own life.
Yeah, same here. They started in spring 1975, I was born January 20 1975, so really, yet they were here all my life. Got early into them thank god. 1985 as a 10 year old. That is something that I've thought in the last few years. Time and aging, it's something we cannot slow or stop. But i think they will go asap to studioFixed it.
If we exorcise Rod Smallwood, we may find Mike Portnoy inside. We will have live albums from every single tour within 20 years!
Even in Europe, you know?Even new cars in America don't have CD players in them.
Yep, plenty of other artists/bands who are still here, have called it a day or have even passed away. Its like black sabbath now or Motorhead,or Dio. OR GUNS N ROSES LOL. No,seriously, what a band, im a fan since early 90s-

Any stream¿?
I'd prefer the opposite. Tour as much as they can while they still can (and hopefully debut a few more never-before-played songs), but also release as many albums as they still can (and want). I want to hear as much original music as possible and I'd rather take another album, even if it meant fewer tours (even though that's not really how this works anyway).I wouldn't mind if they decided to operate solely as a live act from now until retirement, in fact I'd welcome it.
Such a shame playing Flight of Icarus or Where Eagles Dare did not inspire them to write songs like those!I think you could be right. Nicko said in one interview that playing Clansman and Sign Of The Cross on the Legacy tour probably inspired songs like Lost World, Celts and Time Machine.
Why?
that is my thought at the moment,we have a blast since reunion. the only thing i didnt like was Dance of Death. but i love the reunion albumsIf someone said to me when Bruce left, that he and H would return and the reunion era would last until today and the unknown future..I wouldn't have necessarily believed so. But if Bruce and H hadn't come back..I think that Maiden would have called it a day sooner.
Luckily they did come back and so with BNW and the other albums, it has been one helluva ride and one of the best (if not even the one) reunions ever by anybody.
But, even if this is all just kinda sad to think, I would still like to know how many years they got left. Im keeping all the shows and stuff as gifts to us the fans..and have to remind that this all might not last actually too long anyways.
