We can all agree to disagree. But, before we accuse people of doing or saying things, we should take a min to look in the mirror. It's all good tho. None of this convo bothers me here except the BS warning I received for defending myself from someone telling me how to think or what to do.
 
I still can't stop thinking about quality of sound. Some people may say that it suck but for me - it's kind of sound that I like very much. I just wish that EOTC have that kind of sound... I have pretty much expectations for that song.
 
We're passionate. And when we're passionate about something, it's easy to speak in absolutes. It's also easy to get defensive. And those two things don't work well together.

I'm also sure it's hard for some of the older times to periodically get waves of new members, who come in, and ask/have complaints about things that have been talked about countless times before. It must get tiresome.

We got a new song today, and that's pretty cool. I say we focus on that.

Also, I apologize for any of the times, I've gotten worked up or said stupid things.
 
Boys and girls, did anyone play the song on anything else rather than their headphones?
I just plugged my phone into my PA (low-end, but with decent wooden speakers) and I was totally blown away. The sound is huge!!! What a difference to the headphones!!! Everything sat so well in the mix...
and I suspect there was some loudness added only for the video, so I expect the sound to be a bit quieter and more comprehensive in the album. I'm so hyped for the 4th of September!

At some times Steve levels are perfect and second later he disappears. Dunno why.

And, correct me if you know better, but from what I know Youtube compress uploaded files so quality of sound is little lower than normal.
 
Yea, I got the CD and the mix wasn't quite as good as what I was expecting. It's not muddy like other albums but doesn't have the same power as BNW, especially in the drums. Still good sound though!

That is actually more feasible than traveling into the past; if you put him on a vehicle with a velocity near the Speed of Light (pun intended, what the hell), time will progress more slowly for him than for us on Earth and thus will have traveled into the future.

My guess is that Steve's levels were dropped a little bit to make room in the mix for the effects Adrian wanted and for the reverb on Bruce's voice since this is their song. I'm confident we'll hear the bass thwacking away on songs like The Red and the Black for example.

If Maiden brings back Hallowed in the set list, I hope they let Adrian play his solo! Janick should have enough of his own solos to play in the new material.
 
Damn guys! I've been gone over night until I got a chance to hear Speed Of Light, then came on here all excited to see others talking about how good it is to have a new Maiden song for the 1st time in 5 long years! I get on here and everyone is throwing stuff at each other and cancelling their pre orders, pretty soon the racial slurs will start coming up.. lol this is NOT YouTube or Facebook or twitter so let's keep that stuff to ourselves.
Now if TFF is anything to go by, then SOL is one of the least good tracks on the album. Well I'm not sure what others think, but El Dorado is my 2nd least favorite from TFF after the title track.
Speed Of Light is a pretty good song overall though IMHO! Damn Bruce sounds awesome on it!!
