What I deduced from earlier interviews, plus some logical sense.

Alright, here goes, but please don't say if I'm wrong or right. Thanks! :)

Satellite 15....The Final Frontier
El Dorado
Coming Home
The Talisman
When the Wild Wind Blows

I find all other songs of the album better, no kidding. OK, the difference with
WTWWB
, which I'll still give a 9 is minimal (in decimals), but it's still there.

Just out of curiosity, what's the order of your favorite songs from TFF?

This needs to be done in spoilers as well, just in case, since people might think I'm right about the setlist. I know -this goes far- and I'll leave it up for the mods to decide if this is exaggerated or not.

For now I'd say:

1. Starblind
2. Isle of Avalon
3. The Alchemist
4. Mother of Mercy
(these two switch places sometimes; for a long time it was MoM, but now The Alchemist is slightly leading.)
5. The Man Who Would Be King
(this one climbed a lot in the last few months!)

I'm amazed at how long you can endure without seeing the setlist :) I saw Maiden only once, on the first date of the 2009 tour, so I only knew 2008 setlist. Someone posted a fake setlist hours before the show, and I said to myself: Don't read it, it will ruin your first live Maiden experience! I read it like an hour later :D

Yea I had problems waiting and my show was a week into the tour. I was tempted a few times. Especially when going into the tour thread and every other post looked like this:

Someone could search a song name, and accidentally see the setlist. Spoilered text doesn't appear in search results ;)

Come on, you (we) are all obsessive Iron Maiden fans. If you can't predict what they are going to play with 90% accuracy you are doing something wrong.

Am I Really spoiling anything by saying they aren't going to play
Alexander the Great
on this tour or EVER?

I wish I didn't have to weigh in on this every single tour.

The spoiler rules exist for a reason. They will not be changed. We've been very lenient with them this time around, but obviously, the notion that some people might have to be mildly inconvenienced in order to respect the wishes of several members of this forum still hasn't sunk in.

Deal with it - or there's the door. We're not forcing you to come here.

No, no, maybe they'll play it in three years in Greece! They have to! It's so logical and obvious! Why wouldn't they?

:ninja:

I'd also be amazed if the vast majority of people didn't do an internet search in order to see the list. Surely to fuck a 2011 tour thread should openly discuss the tour without spoiler tags. My view would be tis, open the thread with a SPOILER WARNING and if people don't want to know, don't enter the thread. This system is  :nuts2:

Is it so hard to use a spoiler tag?

Not at all. I'm quite interested in what people have to say but after I've hovered over a spoiler tag for the millionth time it just starts to irritate me. This thread is being run backwards IMO. SPOILER WARNING in the title and then have at it, if people really don't wanna have the gig "spoiled" then stay well clear. Just my opinion of course.

Eh, I didn't know that by using the search function it would ignore spoiler tags.  I can see why you'd want to spoiler setlists then.

Someone got warned last summer for mentioning what kind of t-shirt Bruce wore onstage, which was good for a hearty laugh and was copied to a few different places on the net as a great example of adults taking themselves way too seriously.

Well I just randomly put one of TFF songs that Maiden are playing on the tour into the search engine and this thread immediately popped up. So, spoiler tags or not, the above could happen...

Not to mention the fact that

Bruce listed the exact songs from TFF that would be played live even before the album came out.

I just accidentily misspelled "spolier" in my last post, so yes, to answer your question it is that hard.  ;)

Also some people check their unread replies. If we didn't use Spoiler Tags an unwanted tour spoiler might show up.
