I still have that (somewhat naive) hope as well, because it would make sense.
Even though I haven't seen the setlist, I still think I know which TFF songs they've played. IMO that selection has been the worst representation of an album Maiden ever did, in terms of quality and quantity.
In the 1980-2006 album history
Fear of the Dark's representation was the worst, in the sense of quantity (5 out of 12 songs), and I feel
No Prayer for the Dying's representation was the worst, in the sense of quality (the never played songs are IMO the best ones of the album, together with Public Enema Number One), followed by
Somewhere in Time, because I rate the two never played songs very high (however, the bulk of the SIT songs which were played were awesome as well).
Conclusion: TFF's selection is a combination of these two representations:
1. Not enough
2. Not the best songs
Just my two cents.
*ducks for rotten tomatoes*.
Note:
I am not going to let this spoil my fun during the four concerts I plan to visit. If the setlist will change, that will be a great surprise. If not, I'll have fun just the same!
