Can anyone tell what Japanese symbols on the album cover are meant to be?
It's also an X-men movie.I was wondering what Days Of The Future Passed reminded me of...
Worked it out. A line in Spinal Tap's Break Like The Wind...
The optimum running time for vinyl I think is somewhere in the region of 17 mins per side of a 12 inch, so anything longer than that means quality is sacrificed.
The title track of TFF album is also written by Smith/Harris.Title song written by Smith/Harris, something left field. Interesting.
What? You didn't like it? I can't recall any message of you saying you disliked the new single...Even though I didn’t like the single
The Senjutsu World Tour, same as the last few tours.Given the album title, I wonder how the album tour will be named...
I'm not in the least. One of my fav things about Maiden is the Harris penned epics. And we get three this time. I'm stoked!I am worried especially about the last 3 songs in the album.
The Metal Up Your Ass tour, with Samurai Eddie thrusting his sword up out of the toilet. Metallica sues, and all PR is good PR, so everyone wins. The Senjutsu World Tour, same as the last few tours.
It's about the ego of guitarists who play the Fender Strat, no wonder it's a Gers song!STRAT - EGO anyone?
Still sounds cool though, probably the opening to the song ShenjutsuYou're not missing anything. It's more like a short pulse, nothing musical that I can tell.
Edit: Listened again this time on my PC instead of my phone, and it is drums, just nothing at all revealing.
I was expecting a shorter album than TBOS, but not a double album again.Well I was expecting another double album, but my logic getting there was more collaboration, not Harris unleashing an onslaught of epics. To have written so much material, I hope (and I think reasonably expect) that there’s quite a bit of variety there. Bruce’s comments about there being a couple of different songs and Harris’ comments about some of them being quite difficult excite me. One thing I missed from TBOS was the instrumental work was fairly straightforward compared to TFF.
