RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Anyone knows if Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano has easy access from central Madrid? Thinking about some extra sunshine this summer....

There is an underground station nearby (line 7, name of the station: Estadio Metropolitano).

According to the stadium's website, there are other public transport options too (they recommend the underground though):

Before they made the stadium bigger, it used to be known as Estadio La Peineta and was built for athletics (capacity: 20000). I went there once, back in 1997, to a whole day music festival. Guess who was playing that day? Bruce Dickinson on the Accident of Birth tour. I will never forget Adrian's smile when the audience started shouting all the words when The Prisoner intro tape was playing!

(primarily because of Nicko)

Other than that, I mostly agree with your predictions... unfortunately.

I can relate the stress on Nicko, but if they, internally, had doubts about the possibility of playing Killers, I think they would have went with a different aesthetic for Eddie. Phantom of the Opera, Women in Uniform, the classic one, even a re-edition of the classic. They deliberately went with the Killers aesthetics. I would be surprised if Killers isn't on the set.

Killers hasn't been played since 1999.

I think the opener will be either Moonchild or Be Quick Or Be Dead. But, they can pull something out of the left field and open with either TNOTB again or Phantom Of The Opera.

I could have sworn it was in the 2005 set, so it is even more of a deep cut than before. It's a song not rendered in the last 26 years when they hit the stage in Hungary.

Phantom of the Opera as opener is interesting. I like your idea of playing the tape up until the band hits the stage and it does "clean" one spot in the set for a different song (would gamble on Remember Tomorrow or Powerslave, if they want to play it safe). Be Quick or Be Dead would be amazing as an encore opener, but I question if the band as a whole will have the stamina for it.

I thought they played it as well, but they did not. Luckily they did play it in 1999 and got to hear Killers then. It would be great to hear that one again.

No graspop date, but I see there is a 5 day gap which could mean that graspop (or hellfest) is still to be announced.

Personally I'm not too keen about this whole STADIUM thing unless they will really build BIG and EXCITING stage and SHOW. :scared:
Same. If I go, I'll go to Bercy (Paris). Maiden is not a "daylight band" (few are), it spoiled the fun at Hellfest '14 for instance.

Someone mentioned on the post on instagram that top left corner resembles possibly total eclipse, that would be amazing
We know Bruce absolutely loves this one, but we're getting to the point that there's too many possibilities being floated around when we have realistically few slots possibly available in the set.

Would be shocking if Total Eclipse eclipses (heh) some more known "surprise" from NOTB (aka Children of the Damned) but I personally cannot see a space for either.

That's true, but 2 songs from Killers? Because I feel Wrathchild is very likely. It's the same with BQOBD, if he can play CSIT as an opener, why not.

I think it resembles Hooks In You art. I mean, we have deep cuts and deeper/unrealistic cuts. Not now. The possibilities are many, despite the usual classics. 9 albums after all.

The poster also includes a Japanese tower, but that was made as a transition.

I am really curious now about the stage set and the scale of the production. I don't think we should expect something à la Rammstein, as the tour will come not only to stadium and big arenas but also rather small venues (Bratislava is quite small, 10 000 capacity)

Found something interesting in the announcement video:

Question Everything
Just added as a fun tease for the fans, not a hint imo.

I'm curious about Eddie's face on the wall on the poster. Is it POM?

The stage set and scale is the most curious ever. Can't wait for it.

Thinking of signing up for the fanclub before the 27th.

Do you still get a presale code for that? I know last year that was the case but can't find it anywhere just yet.

Also, FTTB still a thing?

Edit: Nevermind I'm an idiot it's right there in the text...

Just a high number of Eddies running everywhere to save their own lives. Maybe Eddies from every album artwork, so 9 of them on stage.

Is it the moment when we share setlist suggestions? ;) (if not, please move to the right thread, thank you)
