One thing is for sure, and it's that concerns about the attendance numbers wound up being unfounded. The band should (and surely will) be very happy with the numbers they got in the end, even with having a couple of discounts/giveaways. 50k willing to show up the year after 65k+ showed up in a far more convenient location is great. As with many dates on this tour, people stressed over sales and then the attendance wound up being far better than people had predicted.

And probably over 100k all in if you count the Irish gig and other UK shows last year (for proximities sake)
 
Saw someone speculate on another forum that they might schedule a London date to get more footage, I was thinking would Paris be likely myself?

Or maybe just bring the cameras to a few gigs in the non-European section of the tour?

While it's curious to hear the songs with different vocal melodies (Wasted was fun), they shouldn't use them, it doesn't sound right. Even Fear and Wasted, I don't think they sound good enough for a live release.

Wow, those are impressive shots. So, after all, Knebworth wasn't a failure. It's good to see they're peaking. That said, I do worry they'll eventually switch to touring almost exclusively in stadiums. Personally, I much prefer arena shows.

:oops: New date for this year? Wow, that would unusual. They really seem to want a European live concert, it's easy to record the great SA crowds.

Knebworth Park in theory can hold up to 125k but I don't think this event was prepared with or had that sort of capacity in mind, as the arena area itself felt well populated throughout. I have seen some people claiming to be in touch with the production company (Kilimanjaro Live) saying that it was just under 60k on the day, there is no way that twice as many people would have been able to safely attend.

I agree. Hopefully, they won't use these recordings. The songs are not a good represenation of how the songs sounded live on that tour and that is what I'd want to go back to that if I bought this concert film.

Apparently, Adrian can't decide whether he wants to be a dark-haired or a blond man. He was dark-haired at the beginning of the tour, recently looked more blond, and now dark-haired again.
