Sometimes I wonder if the rumor that his hair has actually been a wig for quite some time is true.
It would totally fit with certain photos. In those photos, the wig would have simply slipped back.

While I agree that it's mostly his own hair, I'm convinced a fair chunk of Blaze's hair is hiding somewhere in that jungle on his head.

One of the reasons I enjoy Senjutsu as an album so much. There's still some straining here and there (ironically a lot of it on The Writing On The Wall, which he co-wrote) but there's a lot of prominent middle register on multiple songs.
There's a bit of a bluesy touch on this interpretation of Mariner. Sounds a bit closer to vocal styles he used on some of his solo material.
