RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

It's not just swapping out one or two different songs for band to rehearse. The stage production needs to change with the whole flat screen TV and the Power Point presentation. I don't know when they did this interview but if there are any changes, it would have been decided already. Not that Adrian would ever spill the beans like that. Actually, maybe this is his (subtle) way of saying they are actually changing something. Why even mention it?

You took the words right out of my mouth. It's definitely not just now or in the coming weeks that they'll be discussing and deciding whether to add a new song to the set list.
It's sometimes a little difficult to tell when an interview was conducted. It's possible to agree to publish it much later.

I'd be incredibly happy with a change like AH to DWYBO or something similarly uptempo that hasn't been played to death lately. Not just because AH frankly sounds awful, but because it's been done so much better so many times now it's frankly baffling Rod or someone demands it to be in the set (since apparently both Bruce and Steve had their misgivings with it).

Tell him to fuck off if you don't want to play it! He's supposed to be retired anyway!

It's already a more than a decent set. Aces is the clear issue.
I wasn't that happy when the setlist was revealed last year, but honestly I wouldn't change more than 2 songs. It's almost perfect. SSOASS, Rime, Phantom, Hallowed, Powerslave in one set? That's already too good to be true. They have to play the hits too, so not many songs left to play. That's why I think they won't change anything and if they do it'll will be something like Murders/Clairvoyant or Aces. They can't swap the other songs really.

I want Alex, Infinite Dreams, Prowler, Acacia, Revelations ,many other songs , too, but I don't think they are realistic changes at all. Evil is the most realistic change. Honestly a song like Revelations is more likely than Infinite Dreams.

Why on earth do you want them to add Evil back into the set? It’s even more overplayed than Clairvoyant at this point. I don’t get it.

Infinite Fucking Dreams! Still Life. NPFTD. Tailgunner. Hell I’d even take Weekend Warrior over The Evil That Men Do.

Well, that's only because The Clairvoyant didn't see much playtime since the reunion.

866 vs 712 times.

For the last 15 years TETMD was only played on the 2011 leg of TFF, the Maiden England tour (obviously) and the pre-COVID legs of LOTB. We're closing in on a decade since its last appearance. Quite a lot for one of their classics.

Hell yes to all of those. Though I'd rather have any other NPFTD song than Tailgunner.

But all this is wishful thinking anyways. They aren't gonna change the setlist.

Can anyone explain why Infinite Dreams is supposedly so hard to play that they never revive it? Technically speaking it's no harder than Hallowed and is infinitely (pun intended) easier than say, Rime or Powerslave.

I'd love to hear an explanation as well. Some have said that it's too hard to sing, which is weird since there are so many Maiden songs that are much harder to sing and regularly make the setlists.
