RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

They don't care, but they care about event insurance bills. And of course if there is any kind of pressure from the goverment, or goverment is cancelling gigs as a part of their censorship, that would drive the cancellation insurance trough the roof.
Exactly, I think that the problem emerged because of the venue, I've heard rumors about Ušće gig happening, they probably wanted to start in Pula and connect with Belgrade, but Pula was dropped because mid may is out of season and city wouldn't support the gig financially and on the other hand Skymusic didn't want to do arena gig in Belgrade but only open air. Sad really.

Exactly. Weeell government shouldn't cancel Maiden right?
Problem is that in this situation can't be predicted a week in advance. Concert would be 8 months from now and situation is very different now and in January. Situation escalates daily, so if Maiden knew that, I don't think they would book a concert here. No foreign act was cancelled here as much as I know, not even local acts if we don't include festival gigs (entire festivals were boycotted by public when some gigs were cancelled). If no act was cancelled, doesn't mean it won't be.
Exactly. The situation can escalate in the course 8 months.

So Belgrade is definitely not happening?

Yeah, as I said before, 2 nights in Belgrade Arena to start the tour would make most sense in all aspects.

They can play in Pula after Knebworth, but I'm told tomorrow is the last day for concert organizers to confirm the 2026 program for Pula. My friend tried to organize 3 concerts at Pula Arena in summer 2026, but because he can't confirm dates yet, he will probably move those concerts to Zagreb Arena.

Or maybe they will kick off in Istanbul with one or two arena gigs.
I was planning on doing two or three gigs in Zagreb, Belgrade, Sofia, now I'm just disappointed. I can as well skip the whole tour.

I would go to Sofia in any case, as a lot can happen until 2028.
I was thinking about Bratislava. Same travel time, but way smaller venue than Vasil Levski, saturday and a little bit calmer crowd. But as I wasn't surprised with Budapest this year that much, I don't know, at the end of the day it comes down to the question if it's a last chance to see them.

If there are no concerts in Pula (I really want so see them at Pula Arena) in 2026, then this year's concert in Vienna was quite likely my last Maiden concert ever, I decided that last year. I will definitely not travel for Maiden concerts anymore (my pension fund will be too low ;)), but if they come to Ljubljana again, I will of course be at the concert. However, I'm trying to convince my friend to organize Maiden concert (or two) in June 2028 at the new athletic stadium in Ljubljana (concert capacity approx. 17,000, which is expected to be built by the end of 2027).

Doesn't make sense logistically. They won't travel across Europe just before recording a show. Also 21st of June might be the 2nd night in Paris.

Also, Hellfest on 18th of June.
I don’t if they’ll do Hellfest if they already have the Paris show and if they add a second night

If there won't be a concert in Belgrade due to political problems in Serbia, then I don't see any logistical problems at all. If they have preparations in Split, one part of stage production could be already in Pula where they could play on May 19'th and 20'th, and the other part of stage production goes from Split to Athens, than Pula part of stage production goes to Sofia.
