RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

I just got mine for Athens, 103,5 Euros for GA. I don't even know why I spent that much for a gig I've already seen live and in a shit venue that will be 100% worse than my experience in 2025. Probably because they won't tour in 2027. It might be the last time I see them live and that was my motivation. Pure FOMO, tbh.

As a Swede, I am totally eying the possibility to go to Oslo this time. Sweden Rock is both far away and bad in terms of scheduling for my kind of work. I hope the actual date for Oslo isn't too far away however (and the ability to buy single day tickets).
Sweden Rock was around a hundred minute drive from me. Did drive there a couple of hours before and home after the show during The Future Past Tour yesteryear. Nothing I'd be interested to do for this tour, since I already saw it twice last year.

Maybe I'll take a look around any dedicated shows in the continent come spring to see if I have some fuck money around until then

By the looks of it, Knebworth camping has sold out. Can't see any options for it in the presale. Glamping and hotels are still available though.

Rock For People it is.
That means the dates for the European portion of the tour could be completed (minus Sweden Rock on 4th of June, Hellfest on 18th of June and a potential additional night in Paris on 21st of June). Wouldn't surprise me of they say that's it for Europe.

I still think there will be an indoor gig before Greece, tho.

Sweden Rock and Hellfest left I think. I can see a show being added before Athens, but I am leaning towards Athens opening the tour.

Although I was told the tour would start much earlier, but that info included Romania earlier than it is.

I think Belgrade could've been planned, but isn't happening due to political pressures in the country.
Although protests wouldn't really affect Maiden, it's so easy for them to see on the news (thousands of kilometers away from place where things are happening) that "something" is going on and that just checks out whole country. They did play let's say beyond Iron curtain in 1984, but I think that band rn in their 60s and 70s and 50 years on the road doesn't want any problems or even potential controversies.

Well something is happening and it should've happened a lot earlier. One maiden gig is small price to pay.

Yeah of course, I see you're from Serbia so we get eachother. Just saying from they're perspective, I don't think they care enough. It's not their problem, it's not happening in UK, so they don't feel need to do anything. Unfortunately.

They don't care, but they care about event insurance bills. And of course if there is any kind of pressure from the goverment, or goverment is cancelling gigs as a part of their censorship, that would drive the cancellation insurance trough the roof.

Is there no gold circle for Athens this time?

I got one for Sofia this morning, came to €96 for standing (no gold circle available).

Saw that Bucharest seemed to be about €125 standing

Exactly. Weeell government shouldn't cancel Maiden right?
Problem is that in this situation can't be predicted a week in advance. Concert would be 8 months from now and situation is very different now and in January. Situation escalates daily, so if Maiden knew that, I don't think they would book a concert here. No foreign act was cancelled here as much as I know, not even local acts if we don't include festival gigs (entire festivals were boycotted by public when some gigs were cancelled). If no act was cancelled, doesn't mean it won't be.
