Yeah, I would not be happy if I was an Edmonton fan both from the perspective of I don't think Bowman was a very good GM and I don't think someone like him should be running a team given his participation in the Aldrich coverup.
 
They were fine bringing in Perry (though not really sure exactly what he did ... beyond the rumors) and the skating dumpster fire that is Evander Kane .. so guess this was the perfect landing spot
 
Yeah, it sounds like a car was passing Gaudreau safely, and a drunk driver from behind swerved around that car on the right and....fuck.
 
I'm not saying it's not vintage, I am saying some of those guys were active within the last 10 years.
 
I think the Devils are going to have a really good year. Felt like last year they got let down by some terrible goaltending, which they've now addressed with two really good NHL goaltenders in Jacob Markström and Jake Allen.

Thanks, goaltending was definitely the weakest point last season and Fitz did his best to address that. Injuries to Hughes, Hischier and (especially) Hamilton took their toll, as well as the inexplicable regression of formerly solid dmen Siegenthaler and Marino.

But it's a new season, hope springs eternal, I'm optimistic again.
