New York needs to be thanking St. Louis' mom. The way they rallied around him may carry them to the finals indeed. I agree heads will roll in Pitts, Bylsma's extension should be revoked and he should get canned. How can the Hawks have 2 cups and on their way to a third in 5 years yet, Pittsburgh hasn't even made the final since winning in 09? Pathetic. Tonight's game 7 between the Habs and Bs should be good. Boston played HORRIBLE last game, I could hear the Benny Hill Theme every time they were in the Offensive zone. Just... SAD. 2 of the 3 Hab goals were sheer luck and the Bruins dominance was for naught thanks to Price and good fucking luck. GRRR. Can't wait to see how it goes down. Whoever wins deserves it though.

OH MY GOD THIS GAME.

Marchand is a bitch and I'm glad the refs aren't putting up with his nonsense. Admittedly...the first penalty was wrong, but he's been neutralized because the refs call his usual snowing and other nonsense. Great goals all around, Iginla is fantastic.
 
Lucic is hockey's biggest douche. Yes, even including Marchand.
Subban is showing people can grow up.
 
Congrats LC .... should be a good series with the Rangers. I would like to see LA beat Anaheim, just to get home ice, either way it will be a tough series for Chicago
 
Perfect, the Eastern Conference Finals start on Saturday and the West on Sunday ... going to a concert Saturday and I might have missed the end of the game if it went into OT

Yes, but next year, the headlines will all be about how Subban is cocky, and nobody will pay attention to Lucic. I don't know which of them is worse anymore, but it doesn't matter, because they lost where it counts.
 
I am so disappointed in the Bruins, not in the way they played, but for being such little bitches and sore losers. Congrats to the Habs, I'll be rooting for them over the Rangers. As the sole Canadian team I hope they go to the Finals and well... who knows, they may win it all.
 
I was a little surprised by that ... that did not seem that way last year after the finals. I would be down with a BlackHawks/MTL finals ... though I suspect I will be rooting for a different outcome :) I am sure NBC is pulling for New York

Sounds like they're going to let the new GM choose whether or not to keep Bylsma. I'm not sure I can think of a better coach than Bylsma out there right now - maybe Guy Boucher is close. But then we all have to wonder if these bad playoff performances are all part of Boucher's master plan......
 
The article I posted made that very same case that it was Shero's fault, not Bylsma's for not getting the proper pieces.
 
A repeat of last years conference finals in the West. Ideally the same result :)

It was a nice sendoff for Selanne and a class act on the Kings part after the game
 
Just read Price is out for the rest of the Conference final. Didn't realize he had been hurt that bad. That really sucks for Montreal - going to be hard to beat NY unless someone returns the favor on Lundqvist.
