It might be a good rallying point for them ... they got their worst game out of the way (at least I would hope) .. if the overall defense does not play any better, it would not matter if they were allowed to erect a brick wall in front of the goal.

Peter Budaj is the backup, used to be Colorado's starter. After that we have Dustin Tokarski who plays in Hamilton. Top ranked prospect, led Canada to their last World Junior golds.

I am not sure they even need to win tonight, but they need to show they can hang with the Rangers. It would be pretty demoralizing I would think having 2 games like game 1 in a row. Luckily, I have little planned tonight, so I should be able to watch most of it.

I have some plans, but I'll be watching anyway, Because It's The Cup. Yes, it'd be nice to see a win, but we just need to stay close. But letting NY come out with a 2-0 lead and go home with that is killer. I hope we steamroller them. The Rangers aren't that good.

I have a deal at home . .when the Blackhawks are on .. they are on the TV in the living room and no one talks to me unless something is on fire , it is directly related to the game, or there is an offer of food or drink.

The other series, I either watch when no one else is around or stream it on the laptop while we have something else on (or listen to music).

This arrangement has worked out well the past 10 years

Well, this is it. I'll do other stuff, but if the Habs score, I'll interrupt by jumping up and down like an idiot.

Excellent ... I have no problem an idiot of myself. A trait too few people have any more :). I am pulling for Montreal ... a finals with them and Chicago would be cool just from a historical perspective.

Be a hell of a finals, anyway. I think I'd rather face the Kings from a "we want to win" perspective, but I think the Western Conference champions win this year.

I get that ... I admit bias, but I just think Chicago is the best team left and they would have home ice in the finals.

:applause:

Our wives must be very patient people.

I did not see the whole game, but they came out great and scored a pretty impressive goal. Good puck movement, getting guys in front of the net. Then they scored their goal, then the Rangers came right back and tied it and what looked like a combination of a pretty soft goal with a redirection... and that seemed to take the wind out of their sails
