the weird thing is watching some videos of that time I can see the guys enjoy playing, smiling and very happy all of them on stage.
I'm sure if some journalist ask Steve or Nicko about Blaze and the album. They would answer that Blaze was great and was singing better than ever and the album was the best ever.

They were probably so resentful with Bruce after leaving the band that they could not see the bigger picture. :D

I supported the band through thick and thin during the 90s but by the end of the decade it was pretty obvious that Maiden were a sinking ship.

I saw (and enjoyed) Maiden for the first time in 1996, but seeing Bruce and Adrian with Roy Z, Eddie Casillas and Dave Ingraham in 1997 made pretty clear what was missing from the band. Seeing Helloween wipe the floor with Maiden in 1998 was quite sad. Blaze was quite lucky Youtube did not exist back then...

Anybody got any guesses when can we expect announcement of further dates for the 2020 or perhaps some news of the album?

I expect it to be on November 7 as thats when Pulp Summer Slam in the Philippines will be officially be announced after a delay ... that festival even made a point it would be BST (Brisitsh Standard Time) to line up with the rest of the dates no doubt

As I said before, they also need an animatronic right foot for Nicko, if they want to play this again.
Actually all you'd need to do is convince him that a double pedal is fine for the occasional song here and there. Judging by his recent drum clinic appearance he's almost there anyway.

BST stands for British Summer Time. ;)

I know there are rumors for gigs in Paris and other places, but has anyone heard of any specific dates for those concerts?
