Paul is credited on that song, maybe he doesn't let them to play it, I don't know…anyway forget it
Paul is not in the position of letting or not letting anything, and this has been settled decades ago.
On the other hand, I don't miss Paul era songs being played by the current line-up because they tend to ruin them anyway.
Iron Maiden works obviously, and so does Running Free, and a few more perhaps, but I hope they mostly leave that material alone.

I mean, a Deep Purple cover of The Seven Gates Of Hell might be regarded by some as "better" than the original, but I wouldn't want to hear it.

I would add Phantom of the Opera and Remember Tomorrow to the exceptions of songs that I prefer with the current line-up, but I do agree that some of the other older/grittier songs sounded better when they were 40 years younger.

I prefer both with Paul (surprise surprise), but I admit Phantom is quite decent with Bruce as well.
By the way, don't you think it's strange that Bruce did Remember Tomorrow, a Di'anno-penned song, but never Strange World, considering Paul Day's voice is more similar to Bruce's than Di'anno's?

They’ve done it several times since the reunion.

5 in total?

Stranger in a Strange Land (played in 1999 for the first time since the Somewhere in Time album tour)
Aces High (played in 1999 for the first time since the Powerslave album tour)
Powerslave (played in 1999 for the first time since the Powerslave album tour)
Moonchild (played in 2008 for the first time since the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album tour)
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (played in 2012 for the first time since the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album tour)

We could also add For the Greater Good of God if we were to consider the A Matter of the Beast tour (2007) part of the A Matter of Life and Death tour and Paschendale and Brighter than a Thousand Suns could get a mention for their brief appearance on the 2010 leg of The Final Frontier tour. There might be more though, I am getting on a bit and my memory for useless trivia is not what it used to be.

That being said, the majority of the oldies that have been brought back after a long time (e.g. Remember Tomorrow, Phantom of the Opera, Prowler, Charlotte the Harlot, Another Life, Drifter, Killers, Murders in the Rue Morgue, Children of the Damned, The Prisoner, 22 Acacia Avenue, Die With Your Boots On, Flight of Icarus, Revelations, Where Eagles Dare, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Bring your Daughter... to the Slaughter, Afraid to Shoot Strangers) had been played on more than one tour. ;)

Infinite Dreams has only been played on the Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour 1988 (which was as you know the Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son album tour) for the total of 96 times (if setlists-pages is correct).
Caught Somewhere In Time was only played on the Somewhere on Tour 1986-87 (which was as you know the Somewhere In Time album tour) for the total of 151 times (if setlists-pages is correct).

I can kinda relate to the fact now, that were not going to hear either live anymore as they weren't picked for the history tours, but it just leaves me wondering how well these both could have possibly worked. Maybe there was something that prevented them from playing these, but as it was talked on the FC-forums many years ago they even rehearsed Infinite Dreams for the 2013 tour. We can only wonder what went and why it didn't succeed.
Other than that, Im very grateful to Maiden as they've still gone and delivered some nice oldies and surprises to us on these tours.

Regarding Caught Somewhere in Time, apparently Rod told some fans back in 2012 when asked about the song that it sounded like shit live.

Interesting, maybe Rod just doesn't like it. Well, I guess I can only imagine how amazing the guitar leads would have been..now can only relate and listen/watch some bootlegs from 86/87..

Flight Of Icarus was really pleasant surprise and it was amazing to hear it live. Simply outstanding as it felt so good..

Perhaps, they will resurrect something else from the catalogue, Be Quick Or Be Dead (that could be one to bring back), Bring Your Daughter...To The Slaugher (even if it was last played on 2003 tour could still be played nowadays), Still Life (perhaps, perhaps not)..what else there was that has been played live long time ago? I suppose they won't be much bringing songs that weren't even featured on the setlist on each albums tours anyways..so those gems aren't showing probably.

This feels like a bit of confession evening for me now as Im listening to the old shows..
Unfornately, even if I was listening to Maiden those days I didn't see them live in concert '86-'87, but I will always remember the energy and goosebumps I got from the Paris-dvd..right from the first song in the set (which was as you guessed CSIT), it hit me straight to the head, outstanding and I couldn't believe that they've somehow decided not to play it live again (on the later tours). If I had time-machine or Delorean (like in Back To The Future) I would travel to see that show..
Now I can only weep and be sad that I also never heard Infinite Dreams live..that's probably my alltime favorite song (among few others like HBTN and etc) I can only wonder what if they did that song today and make it with justice. 3 guitars delivering and Bruce doing the best..it could have worked.
