Maiden England '88 + History Part 3 coming March 25th!

I have both pre-ordered as well, from Amazon. Did Super Saver shipping, though, so probably won't get them until Friday of next week.

My local Best Buy got in Flight 666 and En Vivo on their release dates, so I'm kind of hoping they'll have Maiden England. If they wouldn't have it for some reason, there are tons of other stores in the vicinity that I could search next.

What do you people think the possibility of them eventually releasing a live concert from this modern Maiden England tour is? I would love to see the 2012/13 tour in pro shot; with an absolutely superb stage design and set list, it would be a shame if they just ignored it. (And I'm just going by the fact we got releases of the Somewhere Back In Time and Final Frontier tours).

I think it'd be a good idea for them to release a DVD every spring, so we'd get Maiden England 2012/13 next year. Though they've never released an album and DVD the same year and we're about due for another album, so that could very well delay a DVD, even though it will almost certainly be released in fall. That is, IF they do an album next year.

They've been very quiet on the new album front. That recent British Lion interview with Steve sounded quite hopeful, but he still didn't expressly say anything about a new album

I pre-ordered the DVD through Amazon and because I'm impatient, I pre-ordered it for overnight shipping which would have me get it Wednesday since our release date is Tuesday the 26th BUT to my pleasant surprise, the DVD was eligible for release day delivery so Amazon so kindly bumped up my order to this fancy release day delivery at no extra cost to me so I will be getting my DVD Tuesday. :D

It was the same way with Final Frontier. I think we found out about it when they started recording, and it wasn't straight from the band. The official announcement wasn't until the tour started. From watching the Final Frontier doc, I get the idea that they'd rather not promise anything. If they follow the same schedule that they've been following since roughly 2006, I expect an album next year.

I'm pretty sure we'll get a DVD from this or last year's tour. It would be cool if, like Flight 666, they put each song from a different concert, but this time from European concerts.

That would be different, yes. I get the impression they chose the South American ones because of the, er, level of enthusiasm among the crowd. And the huge audiences, of course

I didn't like the format of Flight 666. They way it switched locations every song. I want a coherent live release from one venue. South American shows are always great, Rock In Rio and En Vivo really stood out, I wouldn't mind if they did another DVD there.
