You mentioned strategy. Mine is only throwing stuff around to see what sticks. I've never played this game before. To be honest, it's quite discouraging to see so many people nominating me for elimination. I have no clue how this works, and would really like to stick around a while to see how the game goes.

But, since Travis did reveal something: @LooseCannon, I retract my nomination of Travis, although I see that may not matter since UO nominated him.

I have not spoken any lie about myself in this thread. Yet.

I can only guess Mafia strategy would be to not reveal themselves. I'd expect one person to nominate their victim, and one other to second. They're not going to dogpile on someone, they want to remain anonymous as long as they can.

@LooseCannon, can you also post the information about who is seconding things with an updated list of nominations please?

True, though I'd like to think my post was more in keeping a running track of the events that have occurred already, sort of like LC's vote tallies.

Problem is, we're so early in the game that everyone seems like a liar. We could sit and try to convince people otherwise, but it's essentially pointless until we start losing folks.

Of course. The point of the game is that while the vast majority of the players don't know who anyone else is, the Mafia are well aware who they are - and indeed do, in this game. So they can work together. They are not allowed to converse during Day Phase, but by voting in blocks they can push certain people towards being eliminated. The Mafia are the informed minority, and that's where their power comes from. They have to blend into the villagers, and only by their nominations and actions can someone determine who they are.
 
Ok, that makes sense. So they have two opportunities to have someone killed. By guile, getting the villagers to kill someone off, and by force, killing someone in the night phase. Very cool.

Nominate people you think are Mafia to be killed. If you don't nominate or talk about who you think are the murderers, you're just wasting space.

Brigantium has made exactly 0.
Collin tried once and kinda failed, and I would really love him to repost his @Collin
Cornfed, mckindog, Knick, Stardust have all made 0 accusations, though many have posted speculation.

Ariana hasn't done anything suspicious yet in my book.

Brigantium hasn't done much so far, so it would be unfair to give judgement.

Collin hasn't do much either...there's a lot of players who hasn't done much so far...but it is still Day 1, of course, so I guess it can be explained.

Cornfed Hick, well, basically (unless I'm wrong, which is pretty likely) told us we should do nothing on the first day. I don't know if I should agree or disagree with that.

mckindog...I have no idea...moving on.

Mosh is in the same boat as some of the others, having not done much so far.

MrKnickerbocker raised some interesting points and he made me feel foolish. For good reasons, though.

Night Prowler...once again...hasn't done much so far.

Perun... ^

RTC...I believe he knows exactly what he's doing and he's a strong player so far. He did nominate me, though....alright, I'll drop the act. It wasn't working out very well anyway.

SinisterMinisterX...first one nominated and also the one with the most secondings right now...I don't really know why. I do believe there's some genuity to what he's saying.

Me? I don't know what I'm doing but I'm sure it's not doing anything to help myself.

Travis The Dragon...sorry for accusing you earlier. I didn't remember some of the posts before. But...revealing that you're a doctor...isn't the best idea.

Unknown One...well...I don't know.

That makes 4 votes for SMX, one of which is coming from Travis, who is clearly innocent.

Seems like Ariana, Perun, and RTC could be our guys, now that RTC has come in to try and swing this first day towards a lynching of SMX...

I second the nomination for RTC.
