@LooseCannon: is there a limit to how many nominations/seconds each person can make?
No, but you can only be nominating/seconding one person at a time. So if you nominate X, then say I nominate Y, I switch you on my tracking spreadsheet.

Travis isn't necessarily dead, though, is he? If I read the rules right, he can choose to self-heal at least once.
Correct. For Travis, this is now an interesting guessing game. Does he self heal the first turn, assuming the Mafia goes for him? Or will the Mafia assume he will self-heal, and go for someone else, then come back to him? Does he assume they will go for him and heal someone else?

Rookie rule question for @LooseCannon

@LooseCannon If a Mafia member takes a shot at me, is it possible for them to miss? If so, how will hits and misses be determined? Or is all of that based on voting?
In this version of the game, the only way for the Mafia to miss you is if you heal yourself at the same time they target you. There is, otherwise, no missing.

I'm back to my original conclusion: there isn't really enough info to go on.
Also, this is standard on the first round. Someone is the sacrificial lamb.

Of course, anyone who dies will be immediately privileged to inside game information, so they can watch this thread and snicker.

SinisterMinisterX has withdrawn from the game.

He was a villager.

All nominations for him are null and void.

Current nominations:
Stardust: 1 by Collin
Knick: 1 by Mosh
Collin: 1 by Knick
RTC: 1 by NP
Cornfed: 1 by RTC
Travis: 1 by Unknown One (I suspect this might change)

I'm inclined to think Cornfed's idea of no lynching is a good one, but since no one seems to be taking him up on that option, I'm second-guessing myself.
As am I. No one should assume I have any experience playing this game; I don't.

Sorry SMX got fed up. Well, we just lost a villager, so that's information, at least. Makes killing another of our own more risky, but just so we have something to discuss, I second the nomination of Mosh, who made a couple accusations early and has since been laying low. We can debate whether to kill him (or anyone else who has been nominated).

Do we still need five people to agree on a nomination? The rules keep changing.

Sorry, I misread, I thought Mosh had been nominated, but it Mosh who had nominated Knick. So, I nominate Mosh, for the reason stated in my earlier post. Again, whether we actually want to kill him, or anyone else, in the wake of SMX's departure (which I think is pretty much the equivalent of a Day 1 execution), is up for debate, and I'm open to persuasion. But by the start of Day 2, it's possible we will be down three villagers (including the doctor).

Anyone else think that Cornfed is just a tad too enthusiastic to get someone lynched?

I nominate Cornfed Hick.

But I wouldn't self heal until I was actually shot, right? So, it will be interesting how this plays out. And I'm not sure who to nominate because it's hard for me to put together what people are doing. For example, how does Perun know Cornfed is too enthusiastic to get someone lynched? And Cornfed knew Mosh was making accusations early. It's hard to follow all of that and make a nomination.

Indeed, and as things stand, we have a tie in nominations. I encourage people to give a post.
