Indeed, either the Mafia put me at the top of their list or I'm just losing the popularity contest.

A review of this thread indicates that Ariana, Perun and Collin have all nominated me. Ariana was the first in the thread to ask if it was OK to point fingers. Perun was first to make a bizzare claim against my proof when I was accused. Unless I insulted all their mothers recently, it's pretty clear they're Mafia and for some reason I'm the first target.

I second the nomination of Collin.

@LooseCannon: is there a limit to how many nominations/seconds each person can make?

This is all nonsense.

I will now make my analysis.

Ariana - Suspicious, with the asking of the finger pointing..
Brigantium - Very quiet, could be mafia trying to lay low.
Cornfed Hick - Agree with SMX, he's a lawyer, he may need to die.
mckindog - Same thing with Brig.
Mosh - See above.
MrKnickerbocker - He's the town drunk, not suspected.
Night Prowler - See mosh
Perun - See above
RTC - Made to many nominations, could be just trying to stir the pot. Possibly mafia.
SinisterMinisterX - wanted to kill the town doctor, only mafia would want to kill the doctor.
Stardust - Only mafia members like Genesis.
Travis The Dragon - Dead
Unknown One - Too quiet, but also wanted the doctor dead, too soon to tell.

Rookie rule question for @LooseCannon (while we still have a town doctor) or anyone else more experienced in this game: How does Doctor saving work? Does the Doctor know who has been attacked before he heals that person? (That seems odd, otherwise he'd just heal the attacked person each night and the game would never end.) Does he decide which person he will treat in advance, and only if that person is attacked does the save count?
I'd like to un-nominate Cornfed and nominate Stardust.
God bless you. Even though I tend to agree with the consensus that most lawyers are indeed murder-worthy. Unlike you, I deal with lawyers EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Muddling my way through this:
I'm inclined to think Cornfed's idea of no lynching is a good one, but since no one seems to be taking him up on that option, I'm second-guessing myself.
I can't tell if RTC is being as aggressive as he is because he's a veteran player and it's a good strategy, or because he has an evil agenda.
SMX has clearly become a target — is it because the mafia have chosen him, or because he tripped up in some way I'm too noob to notice, or is he just the poor sap who drew the eye of the crowd?
Does that mean Ariana, Perun and Travis are mafia? But Travis clearly isn't mafia, so...?

I'm back to my original conclusion: there isn't really enough info to go on.

I will now make my analysis.

I just woke up, remember I am on the other side of the world to most people. Also I didn't want the doctor dead, I did nominate him because it is very fishy to come out as doctor this early, but then after that he did prove himself to obviously be the doctor, so hence I retract my nomination for Travis. The problem now though is that the Mafia knows who the doctor is and Travis will probably have to use his self-heal, which is a terrible place for the doctor to be.

No, how it works is that everyone who has a night time power (Cop, Doctor, Mafia) tells LC in private who they want to heal / kill / investigate. At the end of the night phase (as day starts) is when all these powers actually occur and if the Doctor and the Mafia target the same person, then they are saved.

SMX has clearly become a target

Indeed, and that really takes all the fun out of this. I was personally asked by LC to play a game in which I had no interest, and now I find myself getting kicked out as soon as it started. I was told "try it out and see how it goes", but it appears I'm just cannon fodder.

I withdraw from this "game". Y'all have fun deciding who you don't want in the game next.

I am fine with no body being lynched, but remember that people do get to make a case for themselves even if they do get put up for a vote. Additionally, even all this pointing fingers and postings do give some information, but generally the best information comes when someone is actually making a case for themselves. So I going to go with a nomination for Collin to see what he thinks.

And remember we don't even have to find him guilty. I've played in games where there were 3 or 4 different people put up to a vote and all of them were found innocent.

You aren't even up for vote yet so it is currently 0% that you actually ARE leaving the game at this time. You are definitely not cannon fodder, this is all apart of the game. If you actually were cannon fodder then you would have had 10 nominations in the first day and been strung up with 9 guilty votes by now.

So I going to go with a nomination for Collin to see what he thinks.
Well.. I obviously don't think its good that I got nominated. I'm not entirely sure what I did to upset the townfolk. Maybe I forgot to pay my taxes or something, who knows?? I would like to withdraw my vote from SMX as it seems unlikely that he would want to quit if he was the mafia.

I would like to Nominate Stardust. Just by looking at all his messages, he seems paranoid.

Here's something to think about. If you kill me off and you get hurt and need medical attention, who will you go to?

It's not about us killing you off, Travis. It's about the Mafia killing you off. Now that we know you're the doctor, we have absolutely no reason to kill you off. Now that the Mafia knows you're the doctor, they have every reason to kill you off.

But what if one of the Mafia's members needed medical attention? They wouldn't get any without a doctor.

Oh, so I wouldn't help them if they needed it since I want them dead.

@LooseCannon If a Mafia member takes a shot at me, is it possible for them to miss? If so, how will hits and misses be determined? Or is all of that based on voting?

It should be obvious from the game rules that the mafia get a certain kill every night unless the doctor saves the target?

I don't think SMX is being targeted. I thought we were just going to toss around names to see how things go. That's why I asked whether it was okay to nominate people, since I think that the way people react to nominations is far more revealing than just nominating a random person. That's why, by now it seems highly unlikely that SMX is one of the Mafia, so I'll I retract my nomination for SMX. I'll wait a bit for my next nomination, though.
