Gonna go to the movies tonight. They're basically completely empty.

I think a quarantine really damages my potential new job, as they probably don't wanna do training for strangers in the midst of a pandemic. Oh well.

Working from home is quieter, but I hope I won't need to do it for months ... although I fully expect it to last for weeks.

Pros: Home brewed coffee is better than the coffee machines at work.
I get my boiled egg for lunch exactly the way I like it and not overcooked as f***.
Quieter, as mentioned, which means I can work more efficiently

Cons: Well, I like my colleagues and they aren't here.
Have no proper office space in my apartment, so I have to use the kitchen table.
I have no printer at home, so if I have to print stuff I'll have to come to the office just for that.

While waiting for my exam to start, I decided to pass the time and take walk on a downtown cemetery next to the institute, which has many famous people buried there. As I entered the cemetery, two black cats crossed my way and I saw two overturned tombstones. Tomorrow is Friday the 13th and I'm flying from one COVID-19 town to another.

Thank goodness I'm not superstitious.

The real challenge would be to remain non-superstitious if you happened to contract the disease afterwards. That's usually where things go awry for the non-superstitious people who turn superstitious.

I was going to point out that black cats are considered good luck where I was brought up, which is why the black cat is the lucky mascot of Sunderland AFC. Then thought about the club's recent fortunes.....
