I agree on the notion of iDiots but there are situations where Mac has clear advantages over the PC. It does seem like the epitome of consumerism though.
 
I've been using a Mac for 7 years now and I vastly prefer it to using a PC. I've had an iPod for 12 years years and never regretted owning it nor felt "restricted" when I use it. I have an iPhone and I find it vastly easier to use than an Android phone.

That said, their prices are out of control.
 
I've just got an iPhone through work and it's proving to be very good. I go for the equipment that works best for me, if I'm paying, though, (and ideally as cheap as possible without buying something completely rubbish). I don't see the point of being an iFan for the sake of it.
 
Agreed. The iWatch, iHome, iThis, iThat, etc. I find to be ridiculous. But I love the phone, I love my iPod, and I love not having to run virus scans every other day on my computer or wait 35 minutes to download updates once a week.

And you'd lose that bet. It wasn't his image when he started out. Both of his first two albums were a massive success and landed him a Grammy. He only became an absolute dickhead around the time of his 4th album because he got caught up in his own hype.

Hell, he stopped being an interesting artist AFTER he started becoming a douche. His latest albums are awful. His latest album (prior to the one that he released recently) is the only studio album he's released that did not win a Grammy and it had the least amount of sales out of any one he released. So it's actually quite the opposite. Being a douche has hurt his success.

although i think people will just praise anything he does now because he's a "genius" Yeezus was a bad album but everyone loved it and Life of Pablo is good but nothing special. Dismissing his work is silly though because it's important in the genre and most of it is very good. that being said Kanye is Dead, Long Live Kendrick!

Yeah I agree. I haven't liked anything he's done since 808s & Heartbreak and some stuff from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

I saw a wee piece in the Metro newspaper the other day saying Maiden can't land Ed Force One at Dortmund when they hit Europe as the plane will be too heavy. Anyone else in the UK read this? They're flying into Dusseldorf instead.
 
Hey, it's less than a year since I got my first smartphone at all. I'm not known for waving expensive technology about.
 
For phones I prefer android to iPhone easily. For computers, both pc and mac have their strengths and weaknesses, but I go for Mac because of its capabilities for music.
 
I was at the dentist today. Now all my teeth and gum hurt and I had to eat cold sour cream for dinner because I can't bite anything... and I'm hungry :confused:
