Near Mesa. My dad and my aunt both live out there. I try to get out there once every couple years or so, but I haven't been able to make it out there since 2011.

I also plan on catching a couple Cubs spring training games while I'm there.

Sweet, I caught a Cubs Spring Training game last year .. Bryant hit 2 HRs. Lots of fun. Enjoy .. and GO CUBS!
 
A 25-slide PowerPoint presentation should be fine for a one-hour lecture, yes?
 
Yeah I think so. It depends how much time you spend talking about each slide though. I'm giving a 25 minute presentation on Monday morning and it's 13 slides long. That gives me time to give a bit of detail about each slide and takes into account the fact that I will certainly be interrupted a few times.
 
I think it will be an average 2 minutes per slide, based on my current judgement - which of course is perfect.
