It saddens me that when it comes to mathematics, physics and chemistry it seems to be more socially acceptable to brag about being bad at it than the opposite ... Not that I encourage bragging in the first place, but why brag about being bad at something?

I know what you mean. It does grind my gears too.

One of the more fanciful theories was that the pilot had a Lost fantasy.

Maybe the "ooh I'm so crap at maths/science" thing is just because a lot of people are, and want to make that clear rather than be made to look stupid later. :innocent:

Something to do with St Patrick's Day? I just got woken up this morning by the weird Eastern cult up the street ringing bells as usual.

Much whistles
Such drums
Very glasgow
Wow
To be honest with you NP, Wow isn't what comes to mind when reflecting on centuries of entrenched sectarianism.

Sadly not Brigs. It was an Orange Order parade, with a full police escort in tow. The timing (i.e. being so close to St. Patrick's Day) may have some significance. No idea.

I've been in the pub the night before exams a few times, and the day before the last exam of my bachelors degree I was watching Manchester City miraculously win the Premier League in the students union. #rebel

Why aren't you joining the Orange Order parade Cried?
