It started out a couple of days ago when it was so bloody hot that I couldn't sleep. That completely screwed up my rhythm, and now here I am.
 
What's annoying is that I get really tired throughout the day and can't concentrate on my work. I have no idea how today is supposed to work.
 
I did some stuff just now, but I got stuck and need the library again.
 
I don't really know. I have an important appointment in three hours, and I'm not sure what will come out of it or how long it will take. If I had it my way, I'd probably hit the sack sometime in the afternoon and sleep till tomorrow morning to get the sleep and rhythm back.
 
If you are going to use the idiom "on time like a German train", I hope you mean a 35-minute delay.
