I want winter, sick of the warm weather. The few times that it snowed it has only lasted less than a day :(
 
You must really love snow! But see, once you're like most of us and have to start driving in it then your attitude might change. :p I keep forgetting you're still in high school so you're still able to enjoy the little things, like snow.
 
Snow is great, winter is my favorite season. But maybe you're right about the driving part, I'll have to learn how to drive first :P
 
Well, until you do, enjoy the snow and winter time as much as you can! :D I'd have to say that the only time I like snow now, is when I don't have to drive in it and that's kind of sad to say because I use to be like you and loved it.
 
Hm. I haven't heard about that definition. And it wouldn't make much sense in a country like Norway. In the south and west, perhaps - but definitely not in the eastern inland regions and in the north. (In Tromsø, the largest town in the north of Norway, they use to say "we have ten months of winter and two months with bad conditions for skiing". Although an exaggeration, I'd still say they have winter from October to April)

I never looked at things from that perspective. You have a point - for a person living close to the Arctic circle, December is right in the middle of winter.

If the world ends on 21st December, this year we'll have the shortest winter ever. :D
 
Yup. And here in Oslo, 1000 km away from said circle, winter usually starts late November/early December and lasts until the end of March. In the hills around the city, snow remains until the end of April.
 
Last night was great.
Now I have to go and disassemble the "swing benches" in our garden because they are covered with snow already..
