You utter git. Missed the UK leg of the tour as I was expecting to be on the other side of the world at the time... when it fell apart it was too late to get tickets (and wasn't in the best mood for it).

First time I saw priest I was at the rail, managed to get a hand on a drumstick (and aswell with Lordi) but didn't manage to hold on.. and the guy next to me (who got the Drumstick at priest) got given a pick aswell >.<  Got a pick from W.A.S.P so thats something.

Sorry in chat btw, was afk trying to find something. Came back about 2mins after you'd left.

That was pathetic. I thought the French accepted the challenge in a unique and brilliant way. The arrow head and then the approach to the half way line. And, what, three maybe four players crossed the line by a few inches? IRB should hang their head in shame for that.

Which means I am officially an old-timer and spend way too much time on here.  :lol:
 
Off to watch the boy run XC sectionals!  Its kinda cool, he is being recruited by some colleges to run for them. Nothing Div 1, but I'm impressed.
So, he did really well! Ran a personal best of 17:08 in the 3-mile! We had a great time!

I saw them on that tour too, fantastic gig - although friend who game with me hadn't heard some of the songs at that point and thought rob was singing "THIS, IS, THE BEGINNING!" instead of Painkiller. Everyone going "WTF is this song?" to I'm a Rocker.. while I was happily singing along to every word, I was going to get the lyrics to that on put on a T-shirt with the album cover on the front, it's far from their best but it should totally be an anthem.

I also remember one of those game's on a forum where you had to pick a band and then answer questions using a song name. First question was "are you male or female" my answer: "I'm a rocker!".

And I take that back. It was 2004 I saw them. I just realized that when Mosh said he had the DVD of that tour because I know they didn't release one for the 2004 tour which was just older songs with Rob before AOR came out and which is the tour the DVD is for.
 
I think I must've read your post wrong? You said that the DVD is from the 2004 tour pre-AoR? cos the DVD has 5 AoR songs on it (No Angel though! But they did it in 2008 so its okay).

I still want them to play Lochness.
 
Yea I almost saw them on that tour, as well as every tour following. Always something came up where I missed it. Good thing I finally got to see them now!  :shred:


King, he has a bootleg from 2004. I have the DVD from 2005, with all the AOR songs.
 
Figured the bootleg/DVD mixup it was just the sentence didn't seem right.

It reads "they didnt realise a DVD for the tour that the DVD is for"  :huh: Well, to me it does  :P
 
OK now I'm confused. I'll try my best to explain this.

There was a reunion tour with Rob in 2004 before the release of Angel of Retribution.
Travis saw a show from this tour and has a bootleg DVD.

There was a tour for Angel of Retribution in 2005.
There is an official DVD for this called Rising in the East. I own this DVD.
 
Hehe, I know how the tours went, when the DVD was and him saying he has a bootleg  :P

It was just the sentence itself lol. I'm just being pedantic to pass the time late at night ;D I'm clever enough to work out what he meant I just think it was worded very oddly ;)
