Stereotyping the guy just because of his Polish descent? Shame on you, @GhostofCain
Nothing to do with him being Polish; by his own admission he likes a tipple or two.

I thought it was his visits to the budget hardware stores that he's most known for?To be fair, he is known for frequenting local pubs around here.
Happy birthday Janick!I think it's the Janick birthday. Happy birthday Janick!!!
Best Janick solo I like the sound of Janick's guitar on the TV broadcast better than the one on the DVD/live Album.
I would hope so, since the music itself is eerily similar...I've been revisiting "The Legacy", "The Talisman" and "The Book of Souls" a few times this last week. There's something in those acoustic passages that isn't in the textbook: an additional depth that goes beyond the actual music.
It's great indeed, but so is his solo on "Blood Brothers".
And so is his solo on ''Wasting Love''. For me, his all time best solo is in ''Blood Brothers''.
I love those runs where he uses the whole length of the neck. And prancing in slow motion too!
This jam between Janick and Steve Morse (a fucking beast of a guitar player) at the beginning... Probably the best guitar playing I've ever heard from Janick. And it's improvisation. That line at 2:08 is fucking amazing.
