I was just about to say that Dance of Death had done exceptionally well so far, then I noticed there was a vote for it.

It is still doing exceptionally well. Perhaps even coursing at its highest position in the history of these survivors.

Well go and look at who cast that vote...
I like the song and all but there's just more songs that are better that should be saved. And by the way, is it just me but has this song and Paschendale gotten fourth and fifth place in the top ten every time so far in ALL of the Iron Maiden Survivors?

I feel the same. DoD is a great song but doesn't deserve a spot in the Top 10, as there is so much great stuff here and it's been among the winners enough already.

I was surprised it had so few votes. It's among my favourites, but I'd never really noticed people here singing its praises before, so I can't work out if it's really popular or simply not among anyone's 'least favourite' songs in any given round.

Ha, that second theory is an interesting one. Better get my hands on some tactical voting next round :devil2:.

It's not uncommon for songs to sneak up just because nobody sees them as a threat. That's what happened when Jerusalem almost won Bruce 's survivor last year and almost gave me a heart attack.

What? Jerusalem is a terrible example, I doubt it was because of a "sneak up". Many people hold it in very high regard. Jerusalem is my 3rd favorite Bruce song, for example.

It almost got eliminated twice. I personally didn't vote for it in earlier rounds because I thought it was going to be out anyway. If I or somebody else had, it would have been out.
