That's what I meant. At one point it was obvious the battle was between Thel and Aquarius and the supporters of the latter focused on getting rid of Thel, so it ended up much lower than it deserved. Jerusalem was underestimated and eventually it got all the votes from the CW lovers against Aquarius.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Take two camps with strong views, or some tactical voting, and a song that nobody has any strong feelings about either way benefits.

You see I don't think it was a matter of that with Jerusalem. I really don't feel like it slipped from people's eyes. I remember it getting bashed constantly throughout the Top 10.

You do have a point with the Thel/Jerusalem switch though. After Thel was eliminated I quit the game, then came back to save Jerusalem as a revenge.

Personally, Jerusalem is my favourite Bruce song and Thel is waaaay down the list. Even so, I don't do tactical voting, I vote as the game instructs - "least favourite" :p

Dance of Death is in my top10 also.

Jerusalem is a bad example, it's generally held in high regard and it tends to do well in Bruce survivors. It seems that recently people who don't really like it as much are coming out of the woodwork.

But there are definitely instances of songs sneaking into the top ten; it happens in just about every survivor. So many people are trying to protect their favorites, that at least one song that isn't particularly loved but also not a least favorite manages to find its way into the top ten. That song also usually gets eliminated first with a lot of people wondering what it was doing there in the first place. The most recent example I can think of is The Mirror in the Dream Theater survivor.

Dance of Death is also a top 10 song for me (yeah I like it more than Pasch). Jerusalem is my #1 Bruce, and Thel was basically exactly where it was in my rankings.

Phantom of the Opera
Caught Somewhere in Time
Infinite Dreams
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Afraid to Shoot Strangers
The Clansman
Brighter Than a Thousand Suns

The Clansman should be in the top ten, along with Sign of the Cross. The highlights of 90's Maiden as far as I'm concerned.

I'd reserve a place for Sign in the top 10 most definitely. As for The Clansman, maybe but probably out with a close call.
