I have the same goal (trying to save Fortunes). :)

An advantage of a late vote is that there could be a chance of changing a situation in the last minute.

An advantage of an early vote could be be that the game can go into a certain direction on the first day, so it's possible that you can (co-)influence other people's votes, because they come in later and see a certain situation that they want to contribute to, or change.
E.g., if you now would vote for Sign of the Cross and Lord of the Flies, someone else who already gave up on saving Fortunes could get renewed spirit and play along with you.

Both actions can also go wrong, but altogether, this is really the game element, which makes it intriguing.

When Two Worlds Collide has got to be one of the most underrated Maiden songs.

Agreed. Except for the cringeworthy repeats of the chorus near the end, very good song filled with nice melodies.

The Mercenary
Dream of Mirrors
The Fallen Angel
Out of the Silent Planet

I can't exclude that cringeworthy stuff from my judgement. It's deeply embedded.

Futureal made it. Ha! My VXI-nr. 1 is gone but nrs. 2 and 3 are through.

I wouldn't go that far, but even so, right now we better focus on what's left.

Do (some) people really find Lord of the Flies better than Fortunes of War, or do they just follow the usual (easy) way? To be honest, both songs are very close to each other for me. At the moment, I like them both better than Sign of the Cross. Sign of the Cross is very epic, and has a superb first half (I especially love the couplets immensely!) but I feel the song's instrumental parts later on bring it down a bit, while Lord of the Flies bursts with tension from beginning til the end (culminated in Janick's solo!) and Fortunes of War keeps me more on the edge of my seat as well. Not all the time either though, the beginning is the best!

Yes, I think Lord of the Flies is better than Fortunes of War. Although LotF is only like 4th or 5th for me.

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Lord of the Flies
Blood Brothers
The Fallen Angel
Out of the Silent Planet
The Thin Line Between Love and Hate

Evil
Blood Bros
Out of the Silent Planet
Fortunes - I rate it 4th on the album, worse than LotF and Sign (obviously)

"Hate" is a strong word. There are a lot of good songs on that list. And you're voting for 'The Evil That Men Do' so your opinion doesn't count. :p

Not at all. Stargazer is brilliant in every regard whereas Evil is not. :P

Evil is a good song and gets a 9/10 from me. But the 6th best song in a group of songs where's there was about 20 brilliant ones? No thanks.
