What the hell?! The previous vote is still not closed! It says it will close on November 26. What happened? I still haven't voted there.
 
Yea, I always leave it open an extra day or two just in case I'm not able to update and someone wants to get a last minute vote in. Otherwise, every survivor is updated every other day at around 6 pm my time. This one actually got updated somewhat later in the day.
 
I understand that but I was postponing my vote on purpose and so was Foro and now the song we were trying to save got eliminated before we even managed to cast our votes. And things would have been different with our votes.
 
I didn't realize you two were doing that, but even still, I don't think it's fair to postpone the update so you can cast your votes later. It's not like I randomly update this game, it's been the same from the start.

Sorry if the end date on the poll was misleading. If it makes you feel better, I'll put the planned end date for each round in the title from now on
 
Yes, it was misleading and it wasn't fair. And I think the fair thing to do will be to wait until Nov 26 and start a new round with DOD.

Sounds like somebody is having a whinge because their tactical voting didn't work out for them. Like Mosh said, every round has had the longer period of time attached to it and until now, you haven't said anything about that before?
 
Yes, because I haven't noticed it before. Why does it have to have a longer period at all, if the votes cast after that won't be counted? It makes no sense.

I think I agree. The circumstances of a vote should be clear from the start, otherwise it's pretty pointless.
 
I've been caught out by polls finishing early a couple of times. Nothing to do with tactical voting, I just wanted to spend more time listening to the options before voting. The indication of the closing date is useful, but is it not possible to just schedule the poll to close at the actual time you want it to end? Or are there only limited options available for setting the time period?

I'm gonna side with Mosh on the debate. He's been very consistent in his approach to the starting points of survivor rounds.

If I remember rightly, you can set it to end at a specific time. But of course you don't know for sure whether you'll actually be there at that time to open the next poll.

I'm quite neutral on this subject but is it that important to open the next poll immediately when the last one ended?
