I'd say it's still not confirmed. But KS deleting that Instagram post is suspicious.

Do we not know of a French IM forum, or some fans from Paris who could take up watch outside the studio?

Probably for the same reasons Ghost of Cain suggests, they are grown men who drink beer, they don't play computer games or read comics etc.

Also, the idea that any of this has an impact on when they record a new album is laughable. Bruce going to a brewery once or twice for a couple of meetings hardly means the band have to take a year off.
